hahahaha sorry not trying to yell I guess i should hone my skills to be with 12" @ 500yds. , but I try not to shoot at these extremes often since I dont practice at the range much more than 3 times a year. I rather stalk in as close as possible and use my bowhunting skills to get within range and POWWW! THANKS for the compliments on my Muley..

I shot a Remington SPS Chambered in 300WSM Which I sent to VAIS ARMS in Hondo, TX. for a Muzzlebrake, glass bedding and stock work. The rifle was then fitted with a NIKON MONARCH 5-20X42MM BDC Scope. I shoot 165gr. Barnes Triple-X out the end of the rifle at over 3300fps and can consistently put those rounds into a 18"X18" box @ 500yds. This !s round can be used kill ANY critter walking on the North American Continent just my opinion...

check any and all RUGGED NASTY CANYONS! thats where the big boys are... VERDE VALLEY north... I seen the largest Coues deer in the mountain ares, not desert... BUT they may also be hybrids...

I took a Coues buck outta of Unit8 2nd weekedn of the hunt... The question IS" Does your daughter have a MULE DEER or COUES Permit? They range in different parts of this unit and weather does affect each of these species differently... Mule concentrate on the open country out near Devil Dog and Garland... Saw few 180+ in the Whitehorse area though... Coues.. stay along the canyons and forest pine/oak Mix just my opinion... from spendinmg hours upon hours in the unit...

I saw the biggest Mule Deer south of Kaibab over off the FR 106.. Easy 190+ Velvet class.. standing there at 80 yds for a good 4 minutes with his 4 other 4x4 buddies... Here is a Unit 8 Coues that eluded me this past bow season.. so I shot his nephew 4x3 instead..

Mineral licks and Feeders should all be legal. We as hunters can not man them at all times and the critters in the woods all reap benefits far longer than the negative impact if any of us taking legal quarry out of nature. Just my input, but the time that is spent taking out salt, molasses and feed for the auto feeders shouls be praised if any...

I shoot 2" Blazers myself, and switched over from 3" Bohning fletch. never had a problem with the 3" just like many sports "ITS ALL PERSONAL PREFERENCE" .. I have been fortunate to take 3 Antelope bucks. all at 80yds. spot and stalk.. 2 with 3" vanes and 1 with 2".. and all arrows flew TRUE. I hear soooo many people talk about 4" are all yall shooting LINCOLN LOGS? Dont really need 4" vanes to stablize most broads heads, fixed or mechanical...

I use Mike Bieda (Pioneer Taxidermy) in Buckeye.He has incredible attention to detail and is not happy till he knows your are 110% satisfied with your trophy. All his work is return to me well within 6 months from the drop off time, sometimes 4 months. I dropped off an Antelope buck, Kaibab muley and 2 Javelina last year and received all my trophies perfectly. This spring full size turkey mounts have been returned as well... VERY VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK!

ALL 3 ANTELOPE I HAVE TAKE HAVE BEEN ON SPOT & STALK AT 79.5YDS, 80YDS, AND 81YDS... 80 IS MY LUCKY NUMBER... WITH AN ELK OR MOOSE SIZE ANIMAL. ILL TAKE A 100YRD SHOT SINCE MY KILL ZONE IS DOUBLE IN SIZE...
