i got my 2nd bull tag in a row after a few years of getting skunked. i credit it to my lifetime license i got haha. seriously though i should get an extra bonus point for getting it

After you fill your tag can you still hunt predators while there is still a hunt going on? I always carrry a lion tag with me anyways but my father-in-law has always made a stink about carrying a rifle during a active hunt without a tag for that hunt. i dont see why not but like everything i am sure there could be a rule about it somewhere. i always forget to ask a game warden when i do see them (not often) so id figure id ask her before this next hunt starts. thanks.

ok thanks. maybe these old guys took that rule and applied it to every hunt or something. they are very over cautious when it comes to hunting and the rules.

you dont have to be personally served for it to be legal, just someone of legal age. and they have 120 days to serve you, not 45 or 90.

If he wants a 1:12 twist i would say go with a remington SPS. if he wants to shoot the heavier grain bullets go with a savage in 1:9. Ive have a couple of savage model 10s (predator hunter and PC) and i like them. I used to have a remington VTR in 1:9 but i sold it. i wish I still had it actually. i like remingtons better but for the money you cant beat the savages.

sweet, they will put a lie on their package to get around a law. i guess you guys dont have a problem with people getting around laws/rules to take advantage of things (like welfare for example). seems to be the american way. btw i never knew baiting was legal until all this crap but reading the new rules and looking up deer cane and reading the description im pretty sure it would still be illegal.

LMAO you think that is a bad thing? id be happy any year they finish in the top 10. they will probably move ahead pretty good in the next couple of weeks since the top 10 have some pretty tough schedules and some play each other. they just need to win.

hopefully the trophy hunters will start passing on the spikes and rag horns on the last few days so us hunters who enjoy bringing something back will have more to choose from. everyone wants a monster bull, but some of also enjoy putting meat in the freezer. its not just about the meat or the horns, its about getting out there and having fun. i dont need a huge rack to feel like a hunter or that i accomplished something, i just need to get out there. so when they put a restriction on bulls it just turns it into a trophy sport IMO.
