    Home range setup

i used to have straw stacked up as a back stop. it would stop my arrow most of the time but sometimes 3/4 of the arrow would pass through. it lasted about a year or more before i trashed them. it works but i would make something else. something that will last in the weather. now o have a real heavy rubber mat on my fence. it will actually destroy my arrow if it hits. broad heads too. i tested it to make sure its safe. i shoot from my sidewalk in my front yard through my side gate to my target. i wanted to build something to shoot at work (about 100 yards) but i think my boss was afraid to ask his boss. when i see him im gonna ask

    Fixed blade broadhead vs. mechanical

The above is true but it shows just one side of the coin. Bigger cutting diameter can cause more tissue damage. However they do have a downside. Overall strength. High energy requirements. Deploying mechanisms that can fail. Steep blade angles. Often with mechanicals the cutting diameter is larger, but they may not have more blade cutting surface. One would have a hard time arguing 20,000 years of fixed blade results. Overall, I feel we spend too much time internet coaching, worrying about gear that is already sufficient, arguing between chevy vs ford, Fixed vs mechanical, UofA vs ASU, etc. All good time that could've been put to use shooting. FORD, FIXED, and UofA

    Truck? - Paint, Wrap, Dip?

i welded in a new quarter panel on my bronco and didnt want to pant it so i rolled the bottom half of it with herculiner. it holds up really good. just have to paint it with spray cans every year or two cause it will fade alittle. but its not needed. if you do it right it will last.

  14. I bought this bag but its alittle too big for my waist pack. I bought it at B&H and paid just over $75 shipped. It is brand new, i unzipped it once and that is it. Ill take $60 picked up here in Tucson. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/712757-REG/Swarovski_60509_Field_Bag_for_EL_SLC.html

how long do you boil a skull

i let mine boil for 8-12 hours (simmer). im never worried about the snout bones or teeth. i just clean them and paint them before i throw them in the back yard somewhere. if it is something nice i would pay and use bugs, thats just me. ive seen them burried and they come out good as well.

winged eye cups for the 10x50 slc

are you talking about the screw on version or the type that slips over the twist out? the screw on version does pop off rather easily. i also carry my twist outs just in case.

Online draw phone number needed please!!!

until you submit an app and they reject it cause they said you didnt fill out the first hunt choice. haha im still laughing about that one. after that i started making copies of my applications. but now i do it all online a week before the deadline to avoid these problems. I have always made copies and never had to rely on them for anything but past history of choices and seasons. Kudos for doing it online, successfully see you are smarter then me haha. i never thought i had to make copies but i was wrong. when i seen the reason why we were rejected i was in disbelief. who wouldnt put down the first choice? we would always write down our 5 choices to remember and tell others what we picked so we know we put them all in. oh well, we learned.
