they are tough. i will say this, dont ever pack them up wet. i did for just a day and it stained it (mold) on the outside. We were caught in nasty weather that didnt let up till the next day. i should have set it up again in the rain. its fine but just has some stains on it. i recommend it. oh yeah +1 on the condensation especially in hot/humid rain.

I was just wondering if you tried to preserve it somehow and it ended up not working. that is one sweet buck, velvet or no velvet. BTW if you ever get near tucson I got some dried mud in my front yard from 5b this year that i washed off my bronco. its really realy dark haha.

was there fuel in the filter bowl? if i remember right the lift pumps on those are known for going up. i did a conversion on one where a pump goes in the tank if i remember correctly. its been a long time since i did it.

i have a question about the parking locations, is that the only spots for us to park or can we park anywhere there is parking? ive been studying the maps and trying to find a spot that looks good and where i hopefully wont run into any hikers, bikers, or hippies. ive never been there so im probably in for a good time.
