I would never buy firestones. I've had a lot of experience mounting them and later removing them because they couldn't handle what they were put through. That was almost 15 years ago so things might have changed. I am now a big fan of Cooper ATPs or AT3s. Wild peaks are nice. I may try Hankooks Dynapro at2 extreme next. I also like Yokohamas but haven't ran them in a long time.

Weight and the design/shape since copper bullets are less dense for their size. Barnes has some info on their website as well.

I have/had many 7mm-08s. Rem 700s, nice Savages, but for the money a Ruger American is hard to beat. A Tikka would be another good choice.

I have one in my trailer for when shtf lol. I even bought a stainless pot for it cause I seem to break things.

I used this young man and his partner on a demo job at the house. They did great and worked very hard. They mentioned they do pavers and other type of work. I will be using them again once I get back into town.

I love these scopes. It should be a 1" tube. The LR models are 30mm.
