Me and my wife were born and raised there! But unfortunately we now live in the big city!

I have been driving through Globe/Miami area for years now when ever I go to my parents house in Safford, and to this day I have never stopped to eat there! (Surprising since i am a big guy! HAHA) But after hearing the way you guys talk about there food, it might be time to start making a pit stop at some of these places!!! LOL

Couldn't have said it better myself! It's a tough unit to hunt if you don't know the area to well! I will be across the freeway from you though, I got 28 mulie hunt. Good thing for extra choices on the draws! HAHA

My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the hunters both found and still missing. As for the fire fighter I hope he is in a better place saving lives from up above now. The sad thing is even though this guy said what he said, I bet this man still would have ran through a burning building to save this jerks life! I hope he rest in peace and his family has the support and courage to get them through this tough time.

He ran across 191 while he was running down the tracks. Why would you even think someone would drive down the tracks? Hmm wonder where the moroons are now?

I have seen them once in town while passing through, and once I was coming out of the casino and saw one running across the parking lot! I saw another one running down the 191 in safford by lone star road, and I ran over a javalina by johnson motors while he was running down the railroad tracks!

Well all I can tell you is good luck! I have hunted there the past few years and it has been a tough unit of late! Lots of does minimal bucks. But they are there!!! Look low, I have seen a few quil hunting this year hanging out in the flats. Good Luck!

I have been scouting that unit for the past few months with my brother-in-law. He has the early rifle hunt there in a few weeks. Last year while on my mulie hunt I found 4 nice big coues bucks. I have seen them twice this season while scouting, so I know there are some big ones there! Just need to hunt hard and glass. They are there, just tough to find sometimes. Unfortunatly I could not locate any big mulies for me to take last 2 years there, but did see a lot of females and fawns running around so hopefully this unit will pick back up soon. Good luck!

I saw this story on the news this morning before work! I just couldn't imagine what that was like! Good thing no one was hurt, well except the elk! But that's just good eatin'! HAHA
