The lift on the cap only applies to bull elk and deer north of the Colorado River, right? Well how about this crazy idea. They should have an exclusive non-resident deer hunt in units 12b, 13a, and 13b. Issue as many tags that would satisfy the courts and their mindless judges. Give em plenty of time for the hunt, let's say.....2 weeks. Schedule the hunt IN THE MIDDLE OF JULY!!!! I've spent much time on the strip in the summer and let me tell you, finding even a doe is dang hard to do. Do something similar for elk. Who wants to go hunt a trophy bull when theyre not rutting, it's hotter than heck and their horns are still very premature? The courts say we have to let them hunt but they don't say WHEN!! This maybe far-fetched but it sounds good doesn't it?
