    AZ Unit 33 Junior

I will be hunting with my son and 3 other boys in 33 during the early hunt. We hunt 33 quite a bit. Will you have time to scout before the hunt?

    Demo Suppressor Shoot

A suppressor/class 3 dealer is having a shoot at Usery on Friday the 16th. Starts at 7 ends at 12. There will be lots of stuff to see and shoot. There is a $10 range fee for the use of the range and for the RSO. (range security officer) I hope to be there with many of my toys. The 10 doesn't go towards ammo, so if you shoot someone else's rifle/pistol please be courteous, offer to or give them some $ to replace those rounds. Here is a link to the shoot. http://hosted.verticalresponse.com/1045077/6f4e71c463/521463923/675d9213b0/

Suppressors allowed for hunting in Az

who has 22 suppressors also. I bought 1, a SWR Spectre ll, shot it and bought another. One is still in jail. I want one on each 22 I have threaded. Short 2 still.
  5. Jan Brewer signed HB 2728 last year allowing AZ hunters to hunt with suppressors legally. I jumped and have a couple ready to go for this fall for me and my kids/nephew. I have heard all the arguments against it, which are mainly questions of ethics, but in my opinion the benefits of shooting suppressed make it worth the $ and pain dealing with the ATF. Here is my son shooting my 308 suppressed. 168gn Match Ammo 20in barrel. http://s1355.photobucket.com/user/sdking35/media/VID_20130410_155401_374_zps983b51ef.mp4.html

Lets go shoot em! How much POI shift have you noticed without the can on? I have a SWR Specwar 762 and a Specwar 556 in jail now. Waiting and waiting. Both are quick detatch and the 762 is rated for RUM. My screw on 762 is rated for 300 Win. Thinking of threading my Tikka, but it shoots too good. Might just buy another 300 WSM and cut it down to 20in and thread it. Not having to wear ears is awesome. Rc. I will send you a PM. But yes, yes, no, yes.

Mine is a htg predator. It is titanium. Htg dent out of businesses after I bought mine. It wasn't related to the product. The owner had Federal problems with another company he owned. Black rain ord bought them and will start back up. There are many other brands. I bought another 308 can that can go up to 300 ultra mag. Recoil is minimal. Come shoot it with me

Shot my 308 with the suppressor yesterday and at 100 yards had 4 rounds a dime could cover. Not too shabby. My son will use it on his deer and my nephew if he draws a left over tag. Now to get turrets built.

  10. depends on your budget. Leupold VXlll are tough to beat for the price. I have Mark 4s but they are heavier. I have and like Vortex, Swarovski, Zeiss, old Burris. Nikon makes good stuff too. Nightforce are good but heavy enough to use as a club. I'd stay in the 350+ range.

    Loc jaw Rifle Rail

Pros- small, lightweight, solid mount, made locally. Cons- requires tools to remove if you want to use it on more then one rifle. (edited to clarify why I put it as a con, sorry David)

BPS stands for Browning Pump Shotgun.
  14. Good eye. I am on mud. I have a 77, that I bought to wheel, but is to nice to ruin. I bought it bone stock with 72k miles on it 8 years ago, from the 2nd owner. First owner had it 4 months, then was sent to Korea for 3 years so he sold it to his commander. So I have an 88 FJ62 that I bought to trash. Had a 86 FJ60 that a friend talked me into selling to him. Still regret selling it. I might have some hoarding issues.
  15. I just finished a build. I cant wait to get some loads put together. It is a 6mmx45 or a 223 case necked up to a 243. I hope my kids get drawn for the youth Coues hunts to try it out. If anyone has any experience with this caliber send me a note. PIcs will follow.

on backpage they have a Savage 308 with a 16in threaded barrel. Just get that suppressor started. So tempted.
  17. I love mine. Not just when it comes time to take a shot, but when I'm glassing it keeps my rifle out out the dirt and close at hand.

    Ar15 in 6x45 or 6mm 223

Shot the rifle in Colorado on a buddy's ranch last week. AWESOME! Was too giddy to remember to take pictures. We shot ground squirrels. Varmint Grenades do a number on them btw. Suppressed made it easy to hear if you hit or missed. Shot the 22lr subsonic suppressed too, best day of shooting I have had in many years.

    6x45 vs .223

I shot my 6x45 for the first time last week. It was awesome. I didn't have time to load any of my own ammo, so I bit the bullet and ordered some from Les Baer. The 62 gr Varmint Grenades did a number on ground squirrels. (on a buddys ranch in Colorado) No pictures were taken unfortunately. Suppressed with my Titanium 762 can it was awesome. Will work up my own loads from here. I wanted a 6mm without carrying my LR308/243 combo. A little loss of speed, but I love it.
