I just finished the camera system that emails or texts when it sees movement. Stores the info in the cloud. Not foolproof but still beer then the honor system

I have the vortex viper 15x50s non HD that just came back from vortex. My nephew and kids did a number on them the last 2 seasons. I loan them out because vortex covers anything but loss. They are not the best but you can borrow them. Low stress.

Dragging this thread back up. I'm buying one today, was trying to find one local. If not, the Web will get my $. Anyone know where they would be available locally?

I love mine. Great for the spotter to call range without losing sight of the target.

My brother in law and I have hunted together in 33 for years now and have taken 10+ deer backpacked in. We shoot-em, find-em, hang-em, gut-em, skin-em, debone-em, and bag-em in gallon and 2 gallon ziplocks. sometimes it is a day before we can get it on ice, but taking it out of our packs and opening the bags and putting them in the shade or overnight chilling it outside has been very successful. Packing out the cape, meat and horns is much better then lugging out the whole thing and risking the chance of bone soured meat. We always take a picture of the carcass with all the meat stripped off of it, just on the odd chance someone accuses us of wanton waste.

I sure miss both my GSPs. If I didn't have my current dog, she would be mine. Current dog is almost 11.5 and I owe her the last years of her life to be calm. Free BTT for a great looking dog. -
You should check with Naturegirl, she seems to be selling lots of used stuff.

Nice snag. 2nd if the deal falls through

I had to replace my Doublebull thanks to someone else deciding to Covet thy neighbors Doublebull blind. I hope anything shot out of it spoils and the hair slips and they get slammed for wanton waste. They got a chair too. A pox or hemorrhoids upon them and their house. Im not angry.

2 weeks till the rut elk tag and my sons bow gets ran over
cactusjack replied to Adicted's topic in The Campfire
I would have called down to PSE and set up going in and having it fixed. IMO it would be worth the drive. Sorry to see the carnage. Tough lesson to learn at 15yo.
