I waited 13months for my last group

I have a family member that is a multi millionaire, and due to his style of bargaining, we quit going on vacation with him to Mexico. It was embarrassing how far he would beat people down, to next to nothing on their goods. 3 dollars to him, makes no difference, but to them is huge. But my family member enjoys it. And they can always say no. I see things differently, this was a community of hunters that helped each other out. Now it seems like it is a commerce site to pick off people, who sometimes are in real need. I am not trying to tout myself as a Gandhi. I have purchased from guys in dire straights, I could go in for the kill. I wanted them to be able to buy back the items, when they got their finances in order. And be able to get back into the field. Sometimes they are able, and sometimes I end up with items I wouldn't normally purchase. Some of these were loaners. I would send them out with kids and their dads. Not everyone can afford the initial cost to hunt. I am not selling my stuff because I have to, I will probably donate some of these to a charity for youth if they dont sell. on a different topic, I picked up 2 suppressors today, from NFA jail. 6.5 months wait. Turkey camp will be fun with the Salvo on my Beretta. If you see me up in the camp in Unit 23, ask me and I will let you shoot it, but for a cost of 6 dollars a shell, I mean, I will cover the shell. 3 stamps in total 2 cans and one sbr.

I inherited some of my dad's guns, so I need to make room. On the chopping block: Remington Model Seven 308, I purchased this to use as a loaner/suppressor host, but never did anything with it. Someone stripped the stock. It is a great backpacking rifle. It has a Leupold Vx-II on it. 3-9x50. on hold Mauser Sporterized also in 308. Bought this to loan out. Never shot it. Don't know much about it. 300.00 Commercial Mauser in 244 Remington. Also never shot it. It has a Weaver 4x on it. Sold Glock 27 40sw - sold Pics will follow. would trade for a Glock 19 or 26

I have the Kodiak Canvas cabin tent, I like it better then the flex-bow style. The side walls are more vertical, so more room for cots. I also have the Cabelas Alaknak 12x12 that is great. Used it in 6a during a youth elk hunt about 5 years ago and we got snow, sleet and rain. Stayed dry and warm. My boss used it on the youth Kaibab hunt last fall and loved it. Having an option for a wood stove is nice. A good friend has the Geodesic Alaskan Guide and he loves it, but not with cots. He told me he wishes he had purchased a tent with vertical walls. So my answer is, all good choices, depends on how you like to sleep. I hate air mattresses. Always deflate on cold nights, or leak.

Be very careful with the trust you get. It's only as good as it is written. Remember the law isn't based on what is right, just, wrong or unjust. It is how it is worded and how it can be twisted. I started on the quest for another hunting dog about 3 years ago. I have had GSPs in the past and wanted something with the same nose, same drive but doesn't shed. I settled on a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. Then I had to locate a breeder. There is one breeder in Az, but he didn't have any pups. Called a bunch of breeders and found 2 of them with litters due. I settled on a breeder in Colorado, High Country Griffs. Money sent, waited. March 23, 2016 I got an email with the joyous news. Pups on the ground. 12 to be exact. I got lucky Female #4, here to be known as Harley. Made arrangements to have her flown in. I was going to go pick her up, but the time she was ready wouldn't fit my work schedule. She was a crazy ball of sprinkler digging up/chewing on everything of joy. I knew I didn't have the ability to train her properly so I sent her to Summer Camp last year with Todd Yamamoto – RockSolid Bird Dog Kennel. She did great. She likes to chew on birds some, but not too bad. I wasn't able to take her hunting last fall due to an injury to my leg, but I finally took her out for about 2 hours last Saturday morning. My first 2 spots had pig hunters in them, so I had to go to my 3rd choice. (ranked by cholla scarcity) Out of the truck for 5 minutes and we got our first point. They flushed and I missed. We chased them and we got our second point. I hit one, she went and got it. We let them go, and searched for another covey. We hunted about another hour till my leg was starting to get sore, and I didn't want to wear her out. We packed it in. Successful day. Planning on going a few more times before the end of the season. She will go back to camp this summer, get some polishing up.

Went out for 2 hours this morning. 2 gamble and 4 scaled.
