Forest Service has its methods of dealing with this ie Bulldog Canyon east of Phoenix. I honestly wouldn't care if someone came 6 months before the season, offered me a business card, their vehicle Id info, and offered to help me mend fences, or clear a ditch some Saturday before the hunt. I might take them up on the service, I might not, but that dude is light years closer to getting access than anyone showing up the day before. The 'No Trespassing' sign isnt for people who are willing to come talk to me. It's for uninvited guests who have complete disregard for owners rights and the fact that a little courtesy/forethought/due diligence can get you through more locked gates than any bolt cutters could. The checker board is hard, but a little effort goes a long way, and the willingness to be accountable by providing Id info may be the difference. With Forest Service it has... a little.

That's hilarious! What a beast! I know where I'd be putting in for an epic muley hunt this year!

It makes sense that with a minimum points rule, bucks with good genes get shot whether they are 1.5 years old or 10, and genetically inferior bucks then pass on their genes, whether they're 1.5 or 10. That is the dilemma with everything hunting. Unless you pattern a buck for a few years, its difficult to tell the maturity of a buck, where he is at in his development. By shooting the first big buck we see, we may be cutting short the very genes we want to see in future generations!

You're exactly right DB. The federal government has not been doing one of just a few responsibilties originally delegated by the people(the other powers they have usurped), and they haven't been doing anything for quite some time. Az takes its approach, and the Feds freak. What will they do with Utah? The Feds are so busy sticking their nose in everyone's business and now are so distracted and disfunctional. Their whole agenda is staying in power and getting more of it. Americans are so disenfranchised, they're voting out incumbents like crazy ala teaparties, and congress may try to let this slide to increase a voting demographic they can better "control."

Some good points if you didn't completely undermine any credibility you had with your obviously misplaced, misguided and so completely irrelevant comment about one of many service oriented organizations in Latin America. Keep your bigoted comments to yourself. The article mentions "business, legislative, and religious leaders." That's a whole lot more than one LDS representative. And by the way, Utah is close to like 25% LDS. That's less than the percentage of Hispanics in AZ. Is AZ a Mexican state? OF COURSE NOT! Would you be mad if New York wrote that about AZ? YOU BETTER BE! It's also interesting that many states, some liberal, some conservative, most without Mormon "influence", are hailing this as a model for actually doing something to improve the situation, in stead of ignoring the fact that the current system is obviously broken. I'm not saying I agree with the approach these bills are taking, but I'm glad somethings being done despite congress sucking, and the economy sucking almost as bad, AND you don't have to make this about religion to get your point across.

Good experience. I was archery deer hunting in 27, and after spending the day out in the field, I was hiking back to my truck. A G&F officer stopped, said high, and asked to see my license. I rifled through my day pack, for the nth time that day, to find that it had fallen out sometime during my hike. I told him such, and he said we should head into town so he could search the database for my info, to prove if I was lying or not. I was fine with that, so I started packing up my stuff, and remembered I had saved the receipt for my OTC tag. I showed it to him and he let me off. I was grateful to say the least.

How about an extra hundred bucks and you just send me the coordinates to that last cameras location? Don't you worry about hiking out there! I'll go!
-
Maybe I'll go out next time with a mind to shoot a "spike". Perhaps I'll come home with a similar monster!

It is a habit of self preservation, and the trutIh the majority of the time, but if anyone asks what I'm doing, I'm hiking in the woods."With a gun?" Hunting coyotes... Is that legal...SIR!?!

Some of these guys are questioning the sons method of dealing with this... He doesn't have legal ground to sue Blair. That's clear. But, he CAN communicate the horrible experience he had with the booking agent, and that's what hes doing. I for one am grateful, and I'm glad hes willing to help others to not make the same mistake. Go hit him where it hurts! Reputation.

I envy you the 10 days off you had off. I don't envy you coming back from it having to deal with this crap from your supplier and other dealers! You're right though. It's complimentary the way they watch what youre doing! You do a heck of a job and thanks for providing quality products with even higher quality service! -
I agree that the stance of the bull is unrealistic. With how high the head is and how vertical the horns are, that elk would have some serious spine issues walking like that.

That buck is like some comic book super deer. He couldn't be more perfect if he had been drawn from someone's imagination. -

What a perfect example of what our government, and their policies, are doing to the American people. It's a small thing, but its indicative of what good, honest folk are forced to deal with this bureaucratic BS. No offense intended, Hawkeye and bureaucrats. Offense intended to those who can change things, and don't... Leaders, and civilians. Nice Buck. -

What kind of tractor are you looking for? If you have a plow attachment, I might have a tractor and the time to help you out. Otherwise, the capabilities of our tractor are limited to a gannon and a frontloader bucket. -

Bill, Probably the easiest way to tell is how fast they run away from you, but location is pretty telltale.

I like the look, setup, the options; everything is very professional. The thing that jumps out at me is that I like the main color, but that its a little too much. You have product pictures, red 'Add to Cart' buttons, that add a little color; could the menus be a burgundy color? Also, its not a huge thing, but I would minimize the space between the product displays. Why waste that space? You can use the extra space to better market the existing products or maybe even add 2 more! My $.02.

LUCKY! No better sight! No better feeling!

Yeah, not that funny. Amanda, Let's get that crap off of here ASAP.

Urban predator calling

That's so true ... ... Its not my backyard, but I have a family of foxen living a short drive away that I take roosters, meatloaves or other undesirable meat products. I then call them in with my 4 year old and watch them come in like clockwork. My boy would rather feed the foxen then any of our actual pets. -
