If it wasn't Super Bowl Sunday I would be out there with you...We should get together this year so you can show me the finer techniques of catching them in deep water. I've never had any luck on the flotilla...

We have about three weeks till our 2010 coues hunt. Last year we had 9 tags to fill and we filled 7, five coues deer and two muleys. Our biggest coues scored 112" and the biggest muley scored about 150ish". This year we have 13 tags in our camp. I guess the word got out ha ha For those of you who didn't see Ed's buck, here he is again. I went out to our area two weeks ago and looked at the water situation. This year it has rained considerably more than last year, the horn growth should be better. I set a couple of trail cams on water hoping to pick up a good buck. The pix showed some promise Till this guy showed up and jacked up my camera I did pick up a couple of nice gobblers And a couple of Elk hunters that didn't mess with the camera, I thank them for that. Update The camp went 8 for 13, 3 coues and 5 muleys. I'll post pix and stories when they send them too me.

I set a camera at a different water hole about two miles from where the bear had a field day with my other camera. It lasted two days before the same bear jacked this one up!!! I don't have very good luck with trail cams I guess. Oh well the tank has good sign, hopefully I can glass something good in the area. To be continued...
