Scope Alignment Tools to Borrow?
BRYCE CANYON replied to IA Born's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
This weekend would work perfectly. Her scope won't get here until Friday and then I have to have her new rings cerakoted (maybe next week at the earliest) after I get the right size. If you're willing to let me borrow it for a week or two, I'll figure out how to pay you back! Sounds good -

Proof Research barrels
BRYCE CANYON replied to WampusCat's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
My first Proof barrel is on the "Elk Hammer" chambered in .338 RUM. It was built on a Remington Sendero action by Chris Horn. It is a 26" barrel plus the Vais muzzle brake. I do not have an actual weight for you but this rifle is significantly lighter than my 6.5x284 with a medium contour 26", steel Apex barrel. We were getting 2750 fps with 94 grains of Reloader 33 and a 300 grain Berger bullet. Recently switched over to 93 grains of H-1000 and are getting 2850 fps with the 300 grain Berger. 200 rounds through the gun so far and we are hitting 10" steel at 1000 yards. My next rifle will be built by Western Precision as soon as I can decide on a chambering in .284 caliber. It will be on a Stiller Predator action with a 26" Proof barrel. -

I own two of them and my next one will be a Proof also. -
Not to hijack Hoss' thread but I would love to see a picture of your rifle. I built a Mannlicher stocked 6.5x284 on a Mauser action.

This is a 2015 Honda Foreman Rubicon that I purchased exactly 1 year ago from Northland Motorsports in Flagstaff. It has 356 miles on it. My wife decided she likes the Ranger better. It does have EPS. It does not have a winch.

I've got one I'm thinking about selling but I'm going to want a lot of money for it and it won't be available until after September 29th.

Good job! What rifle were you shooting?
