Good job! You did the right thing.

    Help Needed!!??

If I had that tag, I would start looking east of 89 towards Strawberry Crater and even east of there. Another spot would be north of Leupp Road from Townsend Winona all the way east to the Res. These are "non-traditional" elk areas but they will get you away from the crowds and there are a lot of elk running out there. Good Luck!

    Jim White's glassing seat

I am very happy with mine. I have worn out several over the years and this is the best one I have found so far. I will try to have some pictures from the field for you after this weekend.

    Guess the score.

I am with Desert Bull, a solid 105 with those long tines.

    AZ Unit 24A

Azonie, don't worry about it...welcome to the site and thanks for posting the pictures. That is more than most of us do. I do not know 24A so I can't help you out there. My goal is to hunt all of the Arizona "coues" units so I am sure someday I will put in for it. I always like learning a new unit.
  11. Great buck and a great caliber!

    First Post

Welcome to the site mr. smith. I was raised a U of A fan but am glad to see that ASU is having a great season. Great tag you have there. My son and I will be in 33 for the November hunt.

    Jim White Tri pod head

The Jim White head is the only way to go. I have an Outdoorsmans pistol grip head and I used to think it was nice until I got the Jim White head. The Jim White is all I use, it is very nice.

    Doc Hamman

Thanks for posting that information Lark. Doc Hamman worked on my back a lot when I was playing football. I remember that buck in Western Auto but I did not realize that he shot it. He was a nice guy.

    Time for my elk hunt

David, sorry to hear that you had to end your elk hunt. I hoped you were having luck on the other side of the unit. I went out to the edge of the Canyon agin last night and did not see or hear a thing. It was kind of a slow year around here.

    First deer hunt a success!!

That is a beautiful deer, look at that pretty color!

    30A

That Skeleton Canyon is a good area. A couple of years ago I was chasing a real nice buck in that area on the New Mexico side but he was always a step ahead of me. Good luck on your hunt.

    Dogman's latest crappy lion pic

A Snickers candy bar for the mule. Now that's funny.

    30A

Don't feel bad deserted, I asked the same stupid question when I joined the site and they were pretty harsh to me. Instead, tell us about yourself, how long you have hunted Whitetails and information you would like to trade on this or other units. Anyway, welcome to the site!

    2006 couse pic.

Finally, a Whitetail hunter! That is a great first post but tell us some more about that deer.
