Guess the score contest - April 2011

135 Very nice buck! -
I like the Hornady XTP in a sabot for a 50 cal rifle. The 300 grain bullet works great for elk.

That's real nice but can we see some pictures of the deer in the back ground?

I am not familiar with Zeiss scopes. How are the "hunting turrets" different from a standard target type turret?
-
Nothing like it for getting out and looking at some country.

Got out for a ride today and found this little 5 point shed.

So Mike, I am confused. Is it the same as the Foster Ranch shooting range or different... "It's a great property that will serve the purpose. And it is PRIVATE PROPERTY that will not lay under the jurisdiction of the city, forest or monument. Who benifitted from the sale of the property? The owner did. And we did. Who was the property owner? I'm guessing an American citizen excersizing his free rights. Who was the broker? Another guess - a realestate person making a living in a free enterprise system."

New to muzzleloading

I am a big fan of Remington 700 rifles so of course I wanted a 700 ML. I heard so much negative feed back about them that I decided against purchasing one. I went with Austin and Halleck, I have both an in-line and a traditional. I enjoy the concept of "traditional" hunting but when it is time to kill something, I use the in-line with 100 grains of 777 pellets, Hornady XTP bullets with a sabot and a Leupold 3x9 scope. It works for me... -

Looks good. How do you like that stock? -
I have done it and I like it. Getting ready to start another series here pretty soon.

How much does 'canting' your rifle affect accuracy?

Nice bucks. I also enjoyed your sheep hunting article in the recent Western Hunter magazine.

Heck Ernesto, I don't own one but I would not hesitate to shoot an elk at that distance...

Lark, Thanks for not naming names in the Wham robbery...

Trailer and generator have been sold on Craig's List. Thanks for looking.

For Sale: This is a real nice 1990 30' Travel Supreme trailer. Plenty of room for the whole family with a queen bed up front. Everything works but the microwave. One of the A/C electrical circuits has a short in it causing several of the outlets not to work. It should be an easy fix but I do not have time to troubleshoot it. Heavy duty hitch on the back so you can also tow your boat, quads etc. Three of the tires are about 90% and one of the tires is three weeks old. Brakes replaced last year. Honda eu3000 generator with low hours. This trailer is located in Flagstaff. Trailer currently has a gooseneck hitch adapter installed which can be removed for towing with a traditional 5th wheel hitch. $4,000 with the generator $3,000 without the generator I will consider a nice wall tent as partial trade. 928-852-2119 Leave a message if I do not answer and I will call you back.
