A Sendero is just an expensive Remington 700 so yes, it will screw right in to a 700 action. It was shooting real good with 180 grain Bergers and 81 grains of IMR 7828, getting 3-4 inch groups at 600 yards. It is actually my sons gun and he wanted bigger, louder and more expensive so he re-barreled to a carbon fiber 338 RUM. He wants to hit something at a mile (target that is, not animals).

Here's a deal for you: Fluted 26" 7mm RUM barrel off of a Remington Sendero with a muzzle break and a fresh "target" crown. I will include RCBS reloading dies and 100 pieces of brass for $300. Approximately 500 rounds down the tube.

Anyone have any experience with RL17?
BRYCE CANYON replied to 123456's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
My buddy gave me that load and he chronographed it at 3 grand. It was a little hot for my gun so I backed off to 47.5 grains which probably puts me at 29 something. -

If you get an elk down and need help getting it back to the truck then give me a call. I charge $200 per horse within 30 minutes of Flagstaff. Any further than that and I will have to give you a quote due to the high cost of Diesel. I can get four quarters and the rack/cape on one horse for an average size bull. I can usually pull an elk out of Mormon Lake if they are up on the vegetation but if you get one down in the water/black mud then you are on your own. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to CWT. Call or text 928-853-2119

It works great and burns hot. Get it from the Peabody mine in Kayenta or from one of your local Navajo tribal members.
