My dad, little brother and I will be heading up to the White Mountains tomorrow morning and will be up there to do some fishing at Hawley Lake. I have never seen a coues, or mule deer buck up there, but would love to, knowing the genetics of the area. Any place yall know of that we could go to possibly see some coues, besides the usual drive up to Hawley? Any input would be great, thank you.

I started hunting when I was about 11, being 15 now I wish I would've started as early as possible, because hunting has become a passion to me at my young age.

I sure do hope so. On the early hunt we had nothing but does. I knew there were lots of deer in the area. So, I decided to build a couple of homebrews to see what was going on. I just checked one camera last weekend and in 3 weeks it took 357 pictures of: 5 different groups of does, 3 forks, 2 spikes, 1 fork non-typical, 2 ringtail cats, 4 Skunks and 2 squirrels. I hope some bigger bucks move in for December hunt. detox Post the pics

Awesome stories, I couldn't imagine seeing either of these bucks. I think Amanda should do another topic, if it already wasn't on here. Hunt stories, or something of that, because I have tons I could post, and I'd love to hear about all our fellow hunters stories.

What kind of broadheads do you shoot? What have you had the most sucess with? Fixed or mechanical? What is the worst broadhead you've shot? I would appreciate any opinions.

I'm truely jealous of you. I'm only a year and some change older than you i think, and you have me beat by 3 bucks?

I shoot the rage 3 blade, i have yet to harvest an animal with them. I also have the same problem with them. They seem so touchy as i put them in my quiver and they open. I have heard about the blood runner and they look like a good product. I'm just not sure what head i will choose next, therefore any input would be great.

A couple days ago, I shot at my first deer ever. Of course, I missed, but nevertheless it was a great experience. My dad and I made a great stalk on two bucks. We ended up taking our seperate ways to them, and as my luck would have it, I got on the smaller of the two bucks at 65 yards and i let an arrow fly. The two bucks just trotted off, for a minute I thought we were hunting mule deer as the two bucks just stood there, with a 'na na boo boo' look. But we have been seeing alot of bucks. To be exact i think 30 in about three or four full days.

This is about as vintage as it gets after my grandparents house burned down. Sometime in the early 80's, my father is in the yellow shirt
