The Arizona seasons are great i like how they split them between Sept. and Nov. My father in law and i always make a fun Thanksgiving Morning Dove and Quail Combo, i hope they didnt change that too. Here in NV it is only Sept 1-30... -
I also just got this application... i am still messing with it and trying out new things but so far i have to say this is a great program. The GPS of the phone inputs alot of the needed information and it has a declinator to get your angles correct using a program already available on the phone. For $10.00 i dont think you can go wrong...

End Chukar Season On High Note
Chukar Plucker posted a topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Was able to finally locate some of these mountain top Chukar birds the last two weekends. Two weeks ago a friend of mine and I were able to go out and get a nice mixed bag of both Chukar and Gambles and then this past weekend I went out solo, well with my favorite hunting parter Jager dog and really got into the Chukar good. If I could shoot any better I know we could have gotten our limit. As it was I ended up getting 3 in the day trip so it is still a bar b que full. This was Jagers first seaon over birds and while I don't have anything to compare him too I think he did great, and what a joy and experience it is to hunt over a dog you have trained. The highs and the lows -

GERMAN SHORTHAIR POINTER PUPS NEW PICS
Chukar Plucker replied to AZMEATHUNTER's topic in Classified Ads
I got one of the dogs from Jim's last breeding of these same two dogs. This is the first bid dog i have had but i could not imagine wanting anymore out of a dog or a breeder. Jim has talked me off of the edge a few times when it came to training and is a great resource to go to. He has also given me great deals on equipment needed for training. I took my pup out for the first time hunting this weekend and had a great time. These dogs hunt very hard and have motors that wont quit, very earger to please a great with the family. If you are looking for a dog you can't go wrong in dealing with Jim. -
Had to wait a week here in NV but we had a great day. First outing with the new pup... did great... but i may be slightly biased

GERMAN SHORTHAIR POINTER PUPS FOR SALE
Chukar Plucker replied to AZMEATHUNTER's topic in Classified Ads
I was lucky enough to get one of Jim's last pups from the same parents, and I have to say that both Jim and his dogs are top notch. Jager (my dog) is hard hunting, very athletic, very eager to please, and as a first time trainer I could not have asked for a better dog. He is so quick to learn and remember it is remarkable. Jim is a great guy to deal with, very honest and up front about what you are getting and what you can expect, he took me out when we picked up Jager and demonstraed to me, on one of his other dogs the commands to use and the training that I would be doing. He calls still and checks in on me and I am pretty sure more so checking in on Jager. He has a strong passion for what he is doing and it shows and is appreciated. You would not go wrong with getting one of Jim's pups, and if I hadn't used all of my favors for the next 5 years with the wife to get the first one I would surely be trying to swoop one of these guys up. Good Luck and Happy Hunting.
