I guess the title is a little off, it is not shutting down, but it is not taking photos after a period of time. I have a couple of cameras in the field and it seems anywhere between 36-48 hours the camera will stop taking photos. I have plenty of space left on the SD card and good battery life. Once I turn it off and back on it will start taking photos again but only for around two days. The unit is still on a displaying correct date a time when I show up to check it, but will not take a photo. I have tried everything the manufacturer has suggested, hard reset, new sd card, etc. I am coming to the conclusion this camera might be allergic to the heat. It has gotten over 110 a couple of days and that is all I can figure now. Has anyone had a similar experience or can you offer any advice?
