what kinda legal things does it raise if you post a photo of someone that doesn't want it posted? even if he guilty as h e l l? i see these tv shows all the time where the bad guy has his face fuzzed out and they're stealin' cars and robbin' likker stores and shootin' folks and all kindsa stuff. post the photos and lets see what happens? the last big game camera theivin' fiasco is all blowed over. it's time for another one. Lark.

the way the forest fires are anymore, it might be a good think to make a cabin out of. Lark.

alright. now i have an excuse to go to young and be a food critic. Lark.

i like Tred too. guy has the hair o' the bear for sure. paralyzed, in a wheel chair and hunts with a homemade longbow, cedar arrows and homemade stone arrowheads. then the guys in the heated stands talk about how hard they had to work to shoot a buck over corn. i really like it when they are in a box blind with sliding windows and they are wearing camo, have their face all painted with camo and then they stick a shiny stainless barrel out the alluminum framed window. oh yeah, and they always have the "lets spray this scent eliminator all over us" ritual before they walk the 50 yards to the blind. there is no return on investment. i doubt there is a wind farm in the U.S. that can truthfully show a profit outside of subsidies. and to cut the unit and restrict it to hunters, after the fact, is pure BS. but i kinda think that is what a guy needs to expect from all involved. Lark.

quit while you're ahead. it's a miserable existance. Lark.

well, have fun. remember, the family the preys together, stays together. 37 years for me and Carol. Lark.

they're ugly and they don't work for $h!t either. waste of money. they get a buncha gov't subsidy for building them and they get some credits for having "green" (green and in BS) energy, they run a while, the bearings go out and then they sit there. and the owners spend all the subsidy money on something else like fancy offices. Lark.

only place you're gonna find any goats in that hunt is where you said you found them. sometimes you see a few around sprucedale, coyote creek and williams valley, but i don't think any of that is in the hunt. i've never seen a real big buck down there, but there are quite a few. saw 18 together not too long ago. any of the prarie country from hardy hole north and east has a fair number of goats. they run back and forth from down on eagle up to point of pines. i have seen some incredible bucks north of point of pines. saw one about a year ago that i think was a 90 incher. so maybe every once in awhile one of those really big ones will wander down there. but the biggest one i ever saw down there was probably a high 70's buck. sometimes you see some in the big canyons that run from mud springs down to eagle and up on the big prarie on the south east part of the 7 cross a. good luck, Lark.

if life was fair do you think casey would look like he does? poor guy. and i wouldn't be so smart, good lookin', rich, tall, strong, fast, funny and smart. oh yeah, i'm a better shot and smarter than the rest of ya too. if obama gets to redistribute wealth like he wants to they'll hafta chop me up to make it fair on the rest o' you losers. and nobody would get old or sick or be born stupid. life ain't fair. life and fair aren't even part of the same equation. life is what you make of it with what you have. i don't know who the guy is either and i don't care. it looks to me like he got screwed, for what he paid. that ain't a 410+ bull. he's a good one. better than anything i ever shot, but when you peel off the velvet, it's just a nice bull. nice 4th and 5th points, but not exceptionally heavy and has good, but not great main beams, 3rds and brows. and there will be bigger bulls shot this year by guys who got drawn and put in the work to be successful. and they won't need a "team" to help em on their "hunt". this guy "shot" a nice bull. i won't go as far as to say hunt, because in my opinion, these kind of deals go against the rules and concept of fair chase. and it ain't a monster bull. really good one. bull of a lifetime for most folks, but i think anyone on this sight could shoot a better one with the same opportunity. gettin all yanked off of over this guy shooting this bull or getting all yanked off because guys get yanked off over it doesn't do anyone any good. do the best you can with the opportunity you have. and come away from it being able to feel good because you know you worked as hard you had to, to be as successfull as you could be. this kind of thing is ok, because it's legal. if i can see my 83 year old dad get one more buck this year, even a one horned spike, it will mean more to me than this bull does to this guy. Lark.

just gimmee a tag, i don't care what unit. they're all good. Lark.

now there's some usefull information. i try to learn something new everyday, and some days it's really hard because i'm so smart. but today i learnt something new. tax write off. who'da thunk it? can i write of my permits? if not, why not? sounds like one o' them loopholes i always hear about. Lark.

you guys that do them hunter's safety classes are really to be commended. that's a lotta work. i helped a guy out once when one of my boys was going through it. it takes a buncha dedication. and a lotta them kids are little jerks. anyway, good on ya for your contribution to the sport. Lark.

if the buck was hit good, it died, and probly quite fast. if it got away, i kinda think it wasn't hit real good. don't put a lot of emphasis on "knockdown". it's just numbers on paper. if it got away with a .257 it probly woulda got away with a .300 too. hafta hit em in a killin' place. different bullets of equal weight and velocity have the same amount of "knockdown". but a solid is gonna have a lot different affect than a hollowpoint. a soft point spitzer isn't going to react the same way as a solid copper bullet. and if you gutshoot something, it doesn't really matter what you use. it's gonna run away. look for accuracy and use a good bullet. any rifle is better than a bow and arrow, and they have zero "knockdown". but a buncha animals end up in the freezer every year to guys that know how to hunt with one. accuracy and good bullets. and a lotta practice. whole lotta practice. and sharpen up on your woodsman skills, alla that hunter kinda stuff. Lark.

take one extra guy to stay in your camp so the cedar maggot meth cookers don't steal your camp. happened to my boy a couple years ago there. get as far from the road as you can and find a big track. have fun. Lark.

nice bull for sure. i don't know this guy and have actually never heard of him before today. don't have any opinion of him at all. but, i can see both sides of the auction tag arguement and i do have an opinion. can you belive that? i tend to be against it, somewhat. i wish they didn't auction any tags. none. go to a straight raffle on all of them. level the field a little. i think it's more of a way for rich guys to get to do what they want than it is a way to raise conservation funds. that's my take. but what i really disagree with is hiring folks to keep an eye on things for them until they can shoot em. that doesn't sit well at all. to me there ain't a lot sporting to that. and after the guy shot the bull in the subdivision in showlow it really made the whole thing look bad. but there will be bigger bulls taken by joe hunter this year, who got drawn, worked hard and made their own success happen. so the rich guy hater deal doesn't have real substance. if you get a decent tag and put in the work, you too can shoot a millionaire grade bull. i know there were last year because i was in on one of em. i guess it's the "BLUE WHALE" explanation all over again. but that's a nice bull and the bull deserves the credit for being smart enough to evade folks long enough to grow the antlers. and yes, if i had the money, i'd piss everyone off, even the rich guys, because i'd buy every tag, every year. but i wouldn't need folks to camp out on an animal for me. and i would be making my fingers like a V in the photos. and Az doesn't have a big number of auction tags that only rich guys can afford. a lot of other states, through their landowner permit systems, have a buncha tags that are basically available to folks with a lot of money. they are usually had at prices much less than an auction tag in Az, but you still hafta have some serious coin to afford one. it's a jealousy thing. so i guess i actually can feel for the millionaires, everbody is jealous o' me. nice bull. Lark.

good job dude. everbody needs to shoot a lion. Lark.

just get a .270 and forget all that other stuff. if it was me and i had to have one or the other, i'd get the .300 ultra. only one i have much experience with is very accurate, not much recoil due to a good brake and is fun to shoot. and it will knock the h e l l out of whatever you hit with it at incredible ranges. a .25 cal just ain't got the bc for consistent long range shots. smokin' round, but to me it's just way too much powder for a really small bullet. but i never met a gun i didn't like. and don't say nothin' about a 7mm/08. they ain't a gun. Lark.

has anybody ever noticed that growth on casey's neck? Lark.
