i saw an article this morning that said that mexican army folks crossed the border at el paso and fired automatic weapons at some texas hunters. i couldn't make my computer copy the link. didn't say, but it sounded like dove hunters. anyway, the mexicans shot at the hunters with machine guns and ran em off and then stoled their chairs and went back. it ain't long before there is a full scale shoot out on our side of the border between either mexican cops, soldiers or dope runners and when it happens i hope the Americans are real good shots. this kinda stuff really pisses me off. where the h e l l is our gov't? ridiculous. Lark.

you guys like all that foofoo stuff on your goat? i like 3 things, salt, black pepper and flop it in flour and fry it well done in a little oil. and make some gravy with the leavin's. and either grated crunchy fried taters or biscuits. or both. and i like to slice it about 1/4 to 3/8 inch thick. pronghorn has some real flavor to it and it don't like to cover it with a buncha other stuff. same with deer and elk. and i never want garlic in the same room with it. garlic makes game taste rank to me. try it. save all that marinade for beef, chicken and javelina. amanda, you don't use a c clamp to hold your range finder? Lark.

allen, go down to checker or someplace like that, even home depot carries em, get you a tail light kit and install it. very simple. wires are color coded. not hard to install at all. if you have hard to find light assemblies, just get the wires. the plug-in to your truck is marked as to where the correct wires go in order for them to work properly. it's easy. i know i'm a lot smmarter than anybody else, but i've done it a buncha times. if you're not sure where the problem is just pull new wires and put in new bulbs and make sure everything is grounded. you can do iiiiiiit. Lark. hey Amanda, where you gonna be camped? we wanna come up and listen to the bulls whistle sometime in the next couple weeks. maybe we can cruise by and stink bomb your camp while you're out huntin'.

be careful guys. buckle up, check your air, look both ways, all that stuff. this is a sad story. i know what it's like to lose a child. believe me, you don't want to ever feel that. be careful and watch your kids. this is really a sad story. Lark.

i've heard of wildlife harassment, but not sexual harrasment. that takes some 'nards to go mouth to mouth with a bobcat. one of the funniest stories i ever heard was about a lion in a cage. i have tears in my eyes just thinkin' about it. Lark.

i'm glad somebody finally cleared up the db cooper deal. i always wondered what happened to him. how long did the money last? do you get any royalties from the movies and stuff? you need to call that chick up who says it was her uncle and tell her to knock it off. glad to know you. Lark.

i'll bet i've seen a half dozen jeeps over the years with a bull in the back. lotsa work. when i lived in springertown a couple times i went down and helped doug out by skinning elk during cow hunts. me and my daughter. you wouldn't believe what folks will do with an elk. some guys brought one in the trunk of a chevy cavalier. broke the legs with rocks so it would fit. pretty disgusting. and skin one so it doesn't spoil? what is that? if there is one thing that really torques me it is folks not taking good care of their animals. the poor thing died for you. show a little respect and take care of it and use it. no wonder folks always say it tastes "gamey". that ain't gamey, it's rotten. but the one in the jeep, hey, they got it out. don't know how well they cared for it, but they were tough enough to get in the jeep. me and another guy loaded a 340 6x6 in the back of a suburban once. man, we needed a nap after that fiasco. my back is still sore. Lark.

i guess Bill shot he last elk in u1 and it was on it's way to u2 when he shot it. as always, the early elk hunts, bow and firearm, should be red letter days for sure. good luck to all fortunate enough to have a permit. we're gonna head up there in a couple weeks to listen to the bull elk serenade. Lark.

i hafta agree. this site is a good deal for us. when i first started surfing the net i found quite a few other sites and used to sorta play around on em. but it got plain right off that there were a lot of guys that were just there to be stupid. i guess maybe you could call it cyber bullys or whatever. while there are and have been a couple real idiots on this site, they don't seem to stick around for long because they end up getting run off, either by the truth or by Amanda sayin' heck with this guy. there is a lot of real usefull information here, if you're smart enough to listen, and most guys are quite concerned about the feelings of others and especially about the lifestyle that we enjoy so much. thanks Amanda. long live CW.com. i love to drink shots of it several times a day. it really gives me a pick me up. don't know for sure what all it has but it sure does make a guy feel good and it has to be real good for you. look at what the animals do when the pears are ripe. they travel many miles to get into them. i think it might be one of the those superfoods they talk about. Lark.

we use a jack lalane juicer. works great, no seeds or stickers in the juice. i noticed there are lot of pears between florence and oracle junction this year. couple weeks and they should be ready. try making jelly out of it. nothing better on a hot biscuit or pancakes. some of it usually doesn't set and makes great syrup. Lark.

i don't think a vmax is gonna be too good on furs, no matter how slow you shoot it. best bullet i ever found for furs is a hornady hpbt match, in .22 cal. they are target bullets and seem to have a harder and thicker jacket and don't explode like most hp's and plastic tipped bullets. .30 cal ain't gonna be a real "fur friendly" bullet in about anything. no more than coyotes are worth anymore tho, who cares? blow em in half. Lark.

good job Jerry. fine goat. crying shame he busted of his prongs. hard work will almost always beat luck. Lark.

took the old model 99 savage i bought from Bill Q by this place a few days after i got it to have a front sight installed. told me it would take about 2 weeks and be $60. just got it today. been 8 weeks and it was $116. really simple job to install a sight ramp. guess maybe they don't rely on repeat business. anyway, info for anyone who may be interested. Lark.
