    Bergers FAILED me horribly

I've killed just about everything the west has with interloks. NEVER had one fail at any range, on any animal, with any caliber. Made lots of shots over 500 yds out as far as 910 yds, with perfect results. And dozens of kills at closer ranges. I've also seen plenty of horrible results with "premium" bullets. You can say what you want, use what you want, but I've had plenty of experience to be able to rely on them with no reservation. You can also use all the theoretical numbers on paper you want, ft/lbs, bc, whatever number you can think of, results is all I care about and that is what I use. I dam sure never had an interlok fail to open up, on anything, at any range, on any animal. Waste all the $ you want on your fancy bullets. I'll stick to my cheap ol' hornadys and just keep killin' stuff with great results. Lark.

Use hornady interlocks. They work every time, no exceptions. And don't have the "premium" bs price tag. Lark

Best way to cook a wildcat?

They teach all that stuff the guy listed at both schools. It's called FAN-101. First course in the catalog and it's required. Take it back, it's second at who of a. Pizza delivery-400 is first. You are supposed to treat the opposing team like $h!t. That's the rules. If they try to reciprocate (that means do it back to you uofa folks) then you gang up on em after the game and beat the crap out of em. It's all in the student handbook. Lark

Best way to cook a wildcat?

What's wrong with cuttin' up drums, flippin' off who of a people and bein' generally mean to cat fans? You act like its a bad thing? They were just actin' in a way that pizza delivery driver U fans could relate to. Lark

Best way to cook a wildcat?

So should asu start their 3rd string qb to be fair? ASU only had their 5th team line, had to use cheerleaders on special teams, and got guys outta the stands a couple plays. The territorial cup returned to where it should be. ASU's season was a success. Lark.

  21. Checkerboard land was invented to get the railroad to come here. The gov't deeded every other section, for so many miles, on each side of the tracks, to the RR co's so they could sell it go finance the tracks. Their is also a fee attached to the public sections that has to be paid each year. Anyway, don't matter much now, but that's where the checkerboard started. I'd bet lotsa money that we've heard o' whoever is behind the curtain. Lark.

DIY Father Son 22N Bull Elk Hunt

22n. Man, I still have scars from the last time I hunted there. With my boys too. Get a hatchett to chop your way through the manzanita. There are always a lotta Bulls around the dump. Preacher canyon under diamond point is real good the first day. It only lasts 7 days. You can put up with a bunch when you know it's only for 7 days. Have fun with your kids. Lark.
  23. I don't know if greedy is the right word. Ranches are businesses. Folks don't buy em because they wanna play cowboy. They have real high overhead, real high cost to get started, are subject to all kinds of things they can't control. Beef prices, fuel prices, weather, enviro idiots, gov't, etc. the owner is looking at a way to increase the bottom line. No doubt there is someone whispering in their ear about the potential. Probably a buncha somebodies. Probably folks we've all heard of before too. But calling someone greedy for trying to make their investment pay off ain't correct. Lark

    27 Late Rifle crowds

Remember that as soon as the sun comes up and the shootin' starts, everything changes. Be less elk in the easy places and more elk in the rough places. Lark
  25. Private land is just that, private land. Keeping people off the land locked public sections has been upheld in court. It's a crummy deal, but not much can be done other than negotiate. Someone with a lotta money is probably negotiating with em too. The way the rules are as far as game, the landowner can't let anyone without a tag that they got in the drawing, hunt there. I'm sure part of the landowner side is they want tags. Wonder who the rich guy/outfitter is that's behind it? Lark
