i've tried and tried to not hate obama. but it didn't work. the guy is a joke. he's never done anything, has no experience at anything, has surrounded himself with crazy people and he'll trash anyone, even his family, to get a vote. all the while screaming that if he doesn't get elected it's because of his color. if he gets elected, you can say goodby to ever getting ahead. taxes will literally kill you. literally. as far as being independent, that's fine. but the 2 party system is the one that works. if you have a buncha parties, like some countries, you end with a lot of fractured politics and little groups that don't get along with each other. as screwed up as liberals and republicans are, it's still the best way. at least you can get a majority on an issue or a vote. ross perot tried the independent deal and we got 8 years of clinton to show for it. something that fractured this country to the core and something we'll probably never overcome. clinton won twice with less than 50% of the vote. so you had a guy running a country where around 60% of the folks voted against him. and say what you want, we're paying for his 8 years of doing absolutely nothing but riding a wave, and will for generations. if we ever overcome it. one thing obama did do, well, him and the media, is kill the clintons. at least for now. Lark.

personally, i think she's a fine choice. when they first started floating her name many months ago i decided to read up some on her and decided then that i hoped she would be the VP. but of course they didn't ax me my opinion, but they have a couple smart guys on the staff, because that's who they ended up with. she's gonna be real good. when i read the letter she wrote harry ried and nancy pelosi about drilling i really started to like her. Lark.

the if the dem convention had a couple monkeys and a buncha midgets in a little firetruck they could qualify as a first class circus. and it would bring up the average IQ of the whole bunch o' morons and add a little bit o' credibility to the thing. but they gotta beat the same ol' "America is bad and we need to be like france and spain and england and the rest o' europe and canada" drum. and the other one "the public is too stupid to think for itself and the gov't needs to do it for em". denver is gonna need a lake fulla tidybowl to clean up after that buncha turds. Lark. -

you can screw a barrel out of a rifle fairly easy. put a couple thin boards in a vise and clamp em on the barrel real right and put a wrench on the flats of the action and spin it off. they usually aren't real tight. they are machined to real close tolerances so that when the surfaces mate up, they're tight. you can unscrew the barrel and the case should be exposed so can cut the end off it and push the bullet out and then extract whatever is left of the brass. whatever you do, be real careful. Lark.
-
but the best fix is to unscrew the barrel and turn it into a real gun. a .270. Lark.
-
that's a good way to get hurt real bad. instead of the bullet going down the barrel, all the explosion is gonna come right back out the action. probly blow your hand off. seriously. Lark.
-
you can pound a rod down the barrel forever and you won't get it out until you get the bolt rotated back to where it can come open. i've had to do it with a piece of wood on the bolt and a hammer. tap it until the bolt rotates. hopefully it will release from the round. then you can drop a rod down the barrel and get it out. if the bolt locks are rotated into place, you can't get it open until you rotate it back. after you get it open and get the round removed, you need to look at a couple things. overal cartidge length is good place to start. if you loaded em too long and bullet is in the rifles, it can be a pain. also need to make sure you are full lenght resizing the cases. if it isn't an overall length problem, it just about has to be a resizing problem. could also be a neck that is too long. but that is technically a resizing problem. but if your bolt is rotated into the locks, even just a tiny bit, you have to get it rotated back before it will open. whatever you do, be careful and have the muzzle pointed at gamehauler or some other guy that needs shot. Lark.

no wonder the azgfd is always hurtin' for cash. i got 3 checks from em. one for my bighorn rejection. and one for $.50 (fiddy cint, to folks in aj) and one for $.25. don't a stamp cost like 42 cents? i got out the photo copies of all the stuff i sent in and they were all right on as far as the amount. no idea what these refunds are for, but i bet it costs em lot more than 75 cents to administer the checks. Lark.

it all depends on what day o' the season it is. i hold out for a a 4x4 about 30 inches wide the first day, at least until i see the first buck, and then go back to the old "has he got a fork?" it goes down from there. Lark.
