I seen that'n comin'. Lark

Didn't miss any point. Just emphasized the things you tried to gloss over. I'll lease every acre I can get for fifty cents a year and I won't whine about it or make taxpayers pay for access. The bo is locking up 250,000 acres of "public" land. I don't see where folks can't understand that. This place has been a scam since the tribe bought it a week after the browns did , for over $7 million more and macdonald went to prison over it. I think its high time that all the checkerboard crap is returned to the taxpayers. Lark

Max, also, you seem to feel that having to sell cattle in a dry spell is uncommon. It happens all the time. The reason you pay $15+ a pound for a good steak is because of the hellish drought in the southwest 5 years ago. Just texas hauled over 2 million head to the slaughter house in less than a year. Beef went way down for awhile. Now it's sky high because the ranchers haven't got their herds built back up. They all had to pay high prices to haul their cattle too. Again, it's the price of doing business. None of the things you've stated are any different than anything any other cow operation has to do. But the vast majority of them don't charge the owners to use the land. Lark.

Max, The $ the bo pays is the price of doing business. Every rancher in Az pays grazing fees to someone. If they pay $130k per year, for 250,000 acres, that's about 50 cents per acre, per year. Still sound expensive? Sounds like a bargain to me. I'll pay that for all I could get, just to hunt on it. I'd bet it wouldn't take much to get some folks together to pay more than that. Never mind running cattle. Pipelines, tanks, fences, roads, etc are all things that all ranchers pay for, one way or another. The Bo is no exception. Nothing you've said is much different than what any other rancher had to do. There are gov't grants available for part of some things that have to be done, and I guarantee you the bo has taken advantage of them. And you can use what terms you want to describe publicly held land. It is still part of the state and belongs to the taxpayers and there are very concise and defined methods to allow sportsmen to hunt and fish on state land, contrary to what you imply. I'm very familiar with running cattle and the fees involved. I'm as pro rancher as there is. I'm also pro me getting to use public land to hunt and fish without having to pay someone to use it. So are most other folks. I feel Hunt harder explained it quite well. Lark

FB67, thanks, let me know what he says. Tried every place I can find on the net. Some places have it back ordered is the best I can find so far. Haven't been able to hit a gunshow. Might be some old reloaders with some. Lark

Don't try to splain it to punky boy. It's more "then" he can comprehend. He's still trying to figger out which way to split it and he thinks, that I think, it can be done in a day. He's from baja canada. Only kinda bidness he understands is his patients, patience. Lark

Most folks here try to help others. Don't talk in riddles. Later. Lark

I can get all of it I want. Just looking some close. Don't need any bs. Lark

Bob told me he could kick his @$$ anytime. I hate golf, but I'd play a round with him. Dont drink either but I'd buy him all he wanted. It was actually great this year to watch the cards represent Az the way they did. Can he bring Fitz and Carson with him? Lark

The video didn't come before my reply. That ol buzzard has the hair o' the bear. Lark
-
Is it the one where I'm runnin' around bear footed with just a loin cloth on in a cholla patch? Lark
-
No. I run that pansy off a few years back. He was tryin' to get his blackbear belt in cowboy kung foo. Couldn't cut it. Nice guy, just not real rugged. Lark
-
That pig went wee wee wee nowhere. I like how's she's bouncin' up the hills and the "men" are gruntin' behind her. Good job. Lark
-
Cool. That place is so big the newsys'd never find ya to report it. Lark
-
Scams ol man is probly tryin' to get the Broncos to take a dive anyway. But of course, scam don't know anything about it. Lark
-
Sceered o' snakes? Hahahahaha. I just bite the heads off the smaller ones. The big ones I make bite off their own head. Or I make em bite me and die a slow and painful. Lark
-
That's kinda what most folks in Az think. At least one hooplehead disagrees and thinks we have no right to public land tho. And he is smarter "then" the rest of us, because he said so. Lark
-
Hey punky. Why ain't you some famous guy? You may be smarter "then" anybody. As smart as you, ewe are you, ewe oughta have your, you're own reality show. You, ewe think business deals just happen? Sounds like it. Like Jim said, land swaps happen all the time. Usually it's for, 4 a mine or, ore an oil field or, ore some sorta deal, but it happens a lot. There is a method. As long as you make the newly public land available for lease to the guy you just swapped with, they don't loose any assets. You act like I'm just gonna go up there and kick em to one, won side or, ore the other. Things don't work that way. Anyone smarter "then" you, ewe probly knows, no's that. Folks have been working on a land swap for a mine in Az for, 4 many years. Az even had a congressman go to prison because he tried to make money on it. Go live in your little world where you're, your the smartest guy. "Than" you'll be, bee happy. Lark
-
First, dumbass, you approach em and talk about it, "than" you negotiate. It's how bizness werks. Does it bother you that folks know more "then" you, ewe? Lark
-
Fat guys fartin' make more sense "then" you. Lark Had to modify it because you're to stupid to know there is a difference between "then" and "than". They are 2 different words. Most folks know that. You'd think a guy that claims to have patients and alludes to have some medical degree would know that, but you'd think he'd know what a socialist is too, to, two. ( themerr diffurnt wurds to, 2, too)Go figger.

It's a waste o' time trying to get through to this idiot. He has no clue what checkerboard land is, what it's about, or what it means to folks that hafta work around it. Guarantee ya he didn't know where bo was a few minutes ago. He probly just googled it tho. All he does is troll and try to act like a smarty pants. He probly still wets the bed. He's all for homo marriage but if a taxpayer wants to use public land, well then they're a socialist. That makes a lotta sense. He doesn't have a clue what a socialist is. Lark

Just stay up there in baja canada. Leave Az to Arizonians. We are perfectly capable of running our own affairs. Don't need any input from some stupid smarmy as s that likes to keep multiple state lines between him and the folks he tries to goad. Is it lonely behind your mommies apron? This isn't private business. It is about almost 2 million acres of public land stretched over 300 miles from new mex to kingman. Over 250,000 just on the bo. Do you even know where the boquillas is? Ever been there? How about any of the checkerboard stretched across Az? I've dealt with it for decades, for hunting and business. So have thousands of other folks from Az. New mex has some of the same challenges. I've been to the Dakotas a bunch. All over both states. Where do they keep the morons? All the folks I met were good people. You're a mouthy punk. Lark
-
This from the guy cryin' because some folks didn't believe in homo marriage. It's apparant you don't have the guts to talk to people upfront the way you do on the computer. You wouldn't have a face if you did. dakota punk. Lark
-
First, the Bo isn't grazing public land for free. They have to pay fees for the public land. Nobody has said anything about taking away livelihoods or any other bs like that. dakota boy needs to stay in dakota. This checkerboard crap has Az messed up all over the state. Not just on the bo. The conflict is having to pay for access to public land. Land that tax payers fund part of the road maintenance on also. And probably the fencing. This is a problem all over northern Az. From state line to state line. The bo has been a wreck since the tribe bought it. The tribal chairman went to prison over the purchase. Then the tribe tried to make it part of the rez. I don't even know who owns it now. Doesnt really matter. It ain't right for taxpayers to be kept from using public land. Like I said earlier. Deed half of the public land to bo, then bo deeds half of their private in the checkerboard lto the gov't. Then they have a solid chunk of private and the public has a solid chunk of public land. They still get to lease the same amount of land they're leasing now. Run just as many cattle. They just can't lock up the public land. Might have to make some concessions for wells and homes and other structures. Whatever the fix. It ain't right for taxpayers to have to pay a private company for access to public land. checkerboard started in the later 1800's. To help a&p fund the railroad they were deeded every other section (square mile-640 acres) for 40 miles on either side of the rail road. This is what is left. It's been about 135 years. It's time for the public to get access to their land. Lark
