I experienced the sake thing with a lot of hunters out and I even hike far. Its the last day and the deer still haven't came back yet from opening day.

Just had a doe 75 yds from me. Hopefully a Buck will pop out soon. That's where she was standing when I peaked over the ridge. She didn't see me but she disappeared into the thick brush.

Wow just got some great news! I have one last day to hunt tomorrow. My boss said I can't come back to work empty handed. Gave me another day off to give it one last try. Woohoo. Now decision to make. Do I try another spot or do I go to same spot where I know has some bucks in it?

Wow some great deer! I know what you went through looking for some specific deer. It didn't pan out for me either. Still had a great time in the field though.

Well I hate to say it but I'm done, tag soup! I gave it my all. I was willing to tag any deer these last few days and it didn't work out for me. These deer are pretty dam smart. They get shot at on opening day and they dissappear the rest of the hunt. I have to go back to work tomorrow so I am headed home to spend some time with the family. Thanks to everybody for the advice and encouragement during my hunt. Happy hunting to everybody.
