Dear Arizona NRA Member: Your Senator, Jeff Flake, is getting pressure from anti-gun zealots for his opposition to the Schumer-Manchin-Toomey so-called “compromise” amendment. The Schumer-Manchin-Toomey amendment contains a variety of gun control measures that would restrict your Second Amendment freedoms. This amendment would make it illegal for honest citizens to sell firearms within their local communities if they use social media, local community emails lists, or community newspapers to advertise the sale - unless they get advance permission from the federal government. Please call Senator Flake today and thank him for standing strong for the Second Amendment. Let him know you are a NRA member and you support his decision to oppose the Schumer-Manchin-Toomey amendment, as well as any other anti-gun proposal. Please encourage Senator Flake to support the Grassley-Graham amendment that is aimed at addressing the real problems of reducing violent crime, increasing prosecutions, and keeping our kids safe in their schools. The future of our Second Amendment rights are at stake and the actions you take today will have a direct impact.
