Hammered again last night in South Gilbert.

Looks like the commission just approved rifle hunts in Jan. 2 elk, 2 coues, 2 mule deer. Multiple units will be available. These are not extra tags, these are tags that have been turned in at last minute and cant be redistributed.

The US 60 is closed from Superior to Miami for flooding. ADOT has to repair a section of the hwy. If your headed that way next week for hunting, probably going to be a lot longer drive to go around.

I've hunted NM a couple times with landowner tags. Its definitely a good time with plenty of goats around. This was in Central NM Its a relaxing hunt, not like the rat race with the rifle tags here in AZ are that I hear about.
