I think there F S bass will have a very minor effect to the gizzard shad, although any little bit will help. But from talking to my friends from back east the only fish that puts a huge dent in them and keeps them at bay is the gar. And I doubt anybody but us bowfishermen wants them in rosie.......

you guys drew across the road from each other, camp in a central location and hunt each of your units who ever is in the screaming bulls hunt there together,otherwise still hunt, sit water whatever it takes, i would have given anything to hunt with my pops.doesn't really sound like you have a problem you guys have 13 days to get it done.and sit around a campfire and bond even more. Yep that is why we did south and 6a..... we will camp together for sure. I know the bulls always bugle their brains out in south so hopefully they will be going strong in 6a for him!!!!!! And im sure I will spend some time with him or him with me in the field. This is the time I cherish more then anything in the world even though I spend 5 days a week working with my dad he is my best friend and is getting up there in age so I know we might only have another 3 or 4 archery bull elk hunts together if were lucky..... ill enjoy every last miniute of it!!!!!

Well looks like archery 5b south bull and 4b archery antelope for me and 6a archery bull for my dad..... man I sure wish we would of drawn the same unit....... I drew 1st choice and he drew 2nd choice.... I hope one of us kills early so we can spend some time in the field together! !!!

Not to be a butt but if you grade your hunt by the size of your animal that is extremely sad to me. Would I love to kill a giant if I had a 9 10 or another great units tag...... sure but if it worked out and I shot a raghorn I would be just as happy. I love the hunt just as much as I love to spend time in camp, cutting firewood for camp playing cards or spending a few hours in the afternoon fishing at a near by lake with be it with my wife and two little girls or my hunting partners. To me 50% of the hunt is the comrade of your buddy's screwing off or telling jokes or hunting stories or maybe sipping on a beer or nice cocktail telling everyone about your adventures that day......... So just remember that guy that shot that 2 point on the hallowed "strip" probably loved....... and has that story to tell his kids or grandkids. So please don't put people down for shooting something small because it may be small to you but that is a Trophy to them....... that is all
