To clarify, my brother is an Arizona Resident. With a CCW you can have the gun with no background check. Without you need to pass the Federal check. Sometimes it's very fast, sometimes they are bogged down, like now with all the gun buys going on. State law in Arizona is after 3 days they can release the gun to you and if the Feds want it back they will track you down. There is no reason my brother is being delayed other than things are not happening very fast in Washington on background checks. However Arizona law is 3 days if the Feds have not denied you. I agree that if the policy is other than Arizona Law they should clearly post it, and discuss it, before you hand over money. It sounds like Cabelas does that. To discover the policy only after the purchase, and to have a 20% restocking fee, is a tad shady IMHO.

I'm self employed so pay my own insurance. My Blue Cross policy just went from 520 a month to 630. The reason given in the letter was "healthcare reform". It also stated my plan was being cut and I need to pick a new plan from 4 they will offer by the end of the year. I haven't seen the price of those yet.

Attention Campers/Hunters New rule in affect on leaving Trailer in the woods
azshtr replied to muzzlehunter75's topic in The Campfire
Camping for 14 days is just that... camping. Leaving gear for any length of time is not camping, it's holding a spot you wish to camp at when you finally show up. When we were kids it was called "Dibs". If the rule is 72 hours for "Dibs" I'm fine with that. leaving a setup for a week or more to hold it is just being selfish. -

Broke a screw in barrel installing scope base! NEED HELP
azshtr replied to birddogg21's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I'll throw in another option. 2 part epoxy called Liquid Nails. Get the 15 minute not the 6 hour stuff. Place a tiny drop on a smaller screw and let it set to the screw your removing. It doesn't take much to grab tight, and be careful not to make a mess. You can then just unscrew it. -
Yet sealing the borders is not a priority?

Quality over quantity. Slow and deliberate for each shot. Breathe, exhale and relax, concentrate more on the aim than the trigger... the shot going off should almost be a surprise. Don't grip the grip, keep your hand open and relaxed. Also, number your arrows on the fletching so you can tell if one is consistently flying different than the others. Your groups have that look in the further ranges.

To Biscuit or not to Biscuit? That is the question.

I have a Savage 270 with synthetic stock I would part with. Nice shooting gun and very tight groups but I have another 270 that gets more attention. It is not an accu trigger.

I know the answers will be varied... My neighbor is looking to trade for a stuffed Bobcat. The current owner is claiming 700 value. I have no idea the quality of the taxidermy... any idea of range of value for this critter?

I'm boycotting Star Valley. The photo radar system they have, at the bottom of a hill coming off of a 55 going to 35, has made my last dollar spent there. I know it's there, but when in conversation with friends, no traffic, it's way to easy to be just enough over. Payson (because they run the ticket court) and Star Valley can watch my tail lights. I actually now drive 20 through town, in the left lane I know you all may say slow down... I'm driving very reasonable and prudent thank you.

Holy smokes! Awesome video. No way am I going in that hole... well maybe... NOOOOOO

Zimmerman has law suits available to him from the state on down. This was a lynching. Even today the states IT guy said state had tons of stuff from Martins phone the state refused to turn over and was fired for bringing it to light. Zimmerman should sue the heck out of everyone. Police chief fired for not bringing charges States top attorney indicted for falsifying information States IT guys comes forward with information the state held back evidence, and he was fired DOJ paying for protests against Zimmerman Media slanted all stories (IMO) A very biased judge This was a lynching I hope Zimmerman sues the heck out of everyone

Many of the pilots from that area are trained at Deer Valley Airport. Lots of them actually. Of course that earns them right seat privileges, not left seat... that takes more experience.

Tips on bird dog training
azshtr replied to az_shooter's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
You could also contact Tony at Desert Creek Gun Dogs in Buckeye. If your dog is not what he would train he will point you in the right direction if you decide to let someone get the basics drilled into your dog. I was stunned with what he did with my sons year old GSP in a three month training session. It is very impressive. Having a solid foundation of proper training will last dog and owner a lifetime of memories. -
Just to be clear... It was the League that denied the Diamondbacks request to wear the hats. The Diamondbacks went above and beyond in support of the fallen and families. I would like to thanks the Diamondbacks for their support.
