Thanks for the heads up, the 4th is right around the corner. For some reason really snuck up on me this year.

Looking to sell my 12 X 14 canvas outfitter style tent. I have not set it up in a couple of years and the last time I did it about kicked my butt. The pictures attached are from a 2022 Northern Colorado Antelope hunt. Tent worked well at that time with no rips or tears. Tent is a Cabela's brand made by Montana Canvas. I have had it for about 30 years, the canvas has been treated a couple of times. It has been set up approximately 10 times. Asking $500.00 but would consider other offers or trades. Not really looking for anything but would consider some factory .223 or .308 in partial or full trade depending on what you want to part with. Call/text NIneto084748too3five

LOL about a year ago I had to ask someone who she was

I am right handed but left eye dominant as well. I have left and right handed guns but always shoot left handed regardless of where the bolt is. Never seems to be a problem for me.

I have a couple of Pelican 1750 cases that I never use and would like to replace with something a little lighter. Would like to trade or cash. Asking $100 OBO each. nInE28Forseven48toothreeFive. I will post photos later if any interest

Both sold pending funds on one of them.

It looks like they might both be spoken for, I will bump this add later if something doesn't work out.

They have foam. Foam is cut out though, one is cut out as a scoped long gun and the other for a pair of AR pattern rifles. If that doesn't work you can replace the center foam pretty easily I think you can even get it on Amazon

Hey Adam, how ya doin. I had that tag last year, had to turn it back for medical reasons but hope to do it again soon. I would definitely love to hear your experiences. Keep us posted.

What an interesting thread. I had to chuckle a little as I can relate to pretty much every response so far. I went on a non-hunting related trip to Colorado earlier this year and after we returned from a week of camping/trail riding all I could think of was all the planning and then all the work of putting everything away was...hey why don't we just go on a cruise next time so I can just show up with a suit case. Yes...it is hard to not "let the old man in" LOL. I still enjoy going out every time I do manage to get out.

I have this one that is about 30 years old. As far as I can remember it has no rips or tares or leaks. It is a Cablela's 12X14 with no floor, I have an old canvas tarp that could go with it. Asking $500 OBO Tent is made by a company called Montana Canvas. Would love to keep it, I just struggle to set it up due to the weight of the thing. This picture is from the last time I set it up 2 years ago.

I have used a canvas 10 X 12 tent for most of my life. Love it but I need to talk someone else into setting it up :). It kicked my butt a couple of years ago and I think I am over that kind of camping after bypass surgery last year. Anyone want to buy a 30 year old tent? 😀

I am in the market for something like this to use for camping and possibly even work at times https://www.amazon.com/CROWN-SHADES-Patented-Instant-Designed/dp/B0CKYWC1CJ/ref=sr_1_17_sspa?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.rhAUqMa8tKTKZ3odQ-A3v4jZGHknDr5x_Y5r4KJSbUCMbTnDhZNjMy9jvMoMljnEusg5DARV4biVEomYd36GFfdRGwkEgJ0WMWq50Cwt_8l4kpIdegCpQKy3RVyF8Tife2sFZ21F2gzK-qSwOKwBYZwTBnQ2ridSqr5Ipvj4UQ09_P_EBMJD9VZyuSFMJgup0jaJD501zV4O6GckdbIMYgpFyrrvrT9sz9E7J3HqlhE.q-46RdDv4vu_E5OFkMgM9yZg_W7aOhYXE7csKappNck&dib_tag=se&keywords=Portable%2Bshade&qid=1722100748&sr=8-17-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9tdGY&th=1 Does anyone on the forum have any suggestions? Looking for something with at least a little durability, I do understand about how easy it is to get wind damaged. Thanks

I'm going on a family camping trip near Silverton in late August. . Looking for suggestions of places to fish that aren't too far to drive. Would consider a guide or some inside information from someone that has fished in the area. I'm not what you would call an avid fisherman but I thought it might be fun to do something besides riding around on the trails. Thanks for any suggesions.

Yeah...I figured I would need some weights and rope or some solid stakes to keep it in place. Anybody have a particular brand they like or are they all the same stuff?
-
In no case can romex be run underground even in a conduit. UF cable (direct burial) has some specific requirements, I believe it is 24 inches. Other sparky's can check me on this one, I never use the stuff.

18 inches of cover as long as it can't be driven over. 24 inches if driveway.
