I've had the pack for 4 years and like it.. It's versatile and has some well thought out features. Cody took care of me when I purchased it and I believe Outdoorsmans is a great place to do business. The one comment for improvement that I would add to those mentioned, is I believe the lumbar and back pads could be improved. Eberlestock padding makes for a more comfortable ride on a daily basis compared to my Outdoorsmans pack... My 2 cents. My outdoorsmans is still my #1 though

I'm always treated well when I go here once a quarter, and this last weekend was no different. Junior took care of me and my bow has a new drop-away rest, string stop, and tune... And it was all done in a day. Thank you.

I'm selling my 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT 4x4 with 96,718 miles. $13,500. This is a 1-Owner truck that is in good condition. I had this truck through college and used it for short commutes and hunting trips. It's a good truck but I now use a different vehicle for work, so I am selling it. I'd love to sell this truck to a CWT member. If it sells here, I will donate part of the proceeds back to Amanda. Information on the truck is as follows: Engine and chassis 2006 Silverado LT1 1500 4WD Extended Cab Vortec 5.3L 310HP V8 Average ~17 mpg Z71 Off road package with newly replaced shocks GVW rating 6700 lbs. Locking differential rear-axle with a ratio of 3.42 Automatic transmission with trailer brake controller Manual 4x4 floor shifter Evap. system recently recharged for 100,000 mile preventative maintenance No after-market modifications to the engine Interior Four doors with split bench seat in the front Dark charcoal cloth that is in good condition (no seat tears) Power locks and windows Remote keyless entry with alarm system (all stock) Seats 6 Dual-climate control system. The AC was recently recharged this year, and it blows ICE cold! Tinted windows Non-smoker Exterior Off-road tires installed June 2013, and still have good tread LT265/70R17 Toyo Open Country A/T II (E-load rated) Full spare tire Line-X spray-in bedliner Full Disclosure: This truck has exterior blemishes that come with its age and it having been a hunting vehicle. There are small scratches on both front doors and dings on both bumpers (I have tried to show these in the last two photos below). The truck also had a dent in the driver's side rear bed panel that was repaired and is now unnoticeable. The dent occurred when my wife hit a PVC pipe while parking in an underground parking garage. I have pictures of the dent before it was fixed for reference if wanted. No structural damage was done and it was a cosmetic fix. This truck is not pristine but it is in good condition and has never been in an accident. This truck has a clean and clear title, and will make someone a good hunting/camping/working rig. Maybe even a first-truck for a young person. I am happy to answer any questions on it. Please call or text: 480 .Six Zero Three. 7326 Thank you

Jim, what a great bull! I loved the video. With all your previous successes, you could be calloused... And you seem to be far from it. Your emotion, loud and soft, was the best part. Congratulations.

Btt.... Had some interest but it' not sold yet. I just got back from a couple weeks of work travel and I'm ready to sell this thing... -
Dad bought a diesel and after two years of holding on to it, just doesn't have the need for this bad boy any more. Not an every-day vehicle. Was only used a few times a year to go to the lake and tow the trailers to hunting camp. This rig has been on successful elk, coues, pig, turkey, and sheep hunts..... meaning the good luck transfers to you. Details: -1997 Ford F350 (long bed, 1-ton). V8 460 motor with dual gas tanks -117,200 original miles. -Recently passed emissions and is registered through April 2015 -Diamond plating on the tail gate and bed rails (includes 6 recessed hide-a-hooks). Includes matching, locking diamond plated tail box -Heavy duty bed mat -New tires purchased before last hunting season with hardly any miles on them (BFG AT's LT 285/75/R16 with 2 good spares) -Tow package with break controller under dash (not used for 5th wheel) -AC blows cold -Nice, clean stereo installed by Ultimate and is still crisp. Includes: infinity speakers, alpine CD deck, subwoofer, and alpine 75W amp -Dual exhaust makes it sound great -Smitty built running boards -carpeted dash mat -XLT package included power doors, power windows, and cruise control Full disclosure: The truck is in good shape but does have some aging. I tried to take pictures of all wear. Note that sun wear on hood just started this past year. Ash tray and console hinge broken. Small cracks in ceiling fabric. The power-window control intermittently not working for back two windows (fronts work fine). Couple dings in body from az hunting trips. Always did preventative maintenance with records on file. Never ran low on gas or oil. Just had new radiator and battery put in. This truck is ready for summer scouting trips. There aren't a lot of these trucks around anymore. Going to put on craigslist and autotrader in the next couple days, but wanted to put on cwt.com at a lower price hoping someone on here wants it. Send PM or call/text 480-603-7326. Will send more pictures if desired

Tissue Resistance to Arrow Penetration
2 Full Curls replied to JACK's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
I wouldn't get caught up in that article.... The penetration of your arrow into an animal should not be over-defined by a wikipedia drag-force equation. There are a ton of factors that play inside the control volume for this physics problem: broaden surface area, arrow weight, and angle of penetration are just a few. And while there is a resistance force exterted on your arrow at the point of contact, the most important factors contributing to arrow penetration are: 1) Shot placement 2) Sharp broadheads -
Hey guys, I'm looking for a .38 pistol with a snub barrel for my wife (the small J-frame concealed carry type). I'd really prefer a Smith and Wesson and would like the pistol to have an exposed hammer. If you have something that you are interested in selling please let me know...I'd like to see pics and ask some questions. I'm in the valley and will pay cash FTF. Note that I will also want the seller to sign a Bill of Sale. Text 480- Six,Zero,Three- 7326 or send PM Thanks
