Tomorrow's Dinner| Crawfish Gumbo with Gator Andouille
shanehamblin replied to idgaf's topic in Fishing
The last time we went we caught a pile of them. I don't cook them whole. I peel them an throw them in butter an Lemon pepper. Only made enough for the kids. They love it tho. It's a great time with the kids. -
Tomorrow's Dinner| Crawfish Gumbo with Gator Andouille

Last yr over here in Eagar a bunch of kids collected all the chairs from up an down main st and piled them all in the church parking lot the night before the parade lol it was awesome. My sister owns a house on main and had someone flag off the whole area in front of her house 2 an a half weeks before the parade in yellow caution tape. Looked like a crime scene. Needless to say it didn't last. -
Lol it would definitely be a blessing just giving you a hard time. Kids are the best thing that ever happened to me

My dad drove 45 min to dialysis for about a yr an a half. Finally got the call and got a kidney/pancreas transplant over 6 years ago. I now have 3 kids ages 5, 4, an 1. He's a great grandpa and dad. It was a LONG road but keep the faith. Thank the Lord for organ donors. Stay strong!

I agree with you Devin. While I didnt draw elk I would trade one for a coues tag everyday. What tag did you draw??

Marine sniper is probably my favorite book. Have read American sniper, the red circle, the reaper, all great reads but nothing comes close to marine sniper. The best sniper ever.

Where did you order from? Brian eBayThanks Ordered it Monday Arrived yesterday. Looks nice. Have it mounted. Will Shoot it tomorrow. I'm still trying to decide which scope to get. I do very little rifle hunting but I would like a decent set up on my new 6.5 creedmoor. Brian This is what I've got on my creedmoor. Awesome scope!

What kind of info are you looking for? Just load info or personal experience?

Its only ethical if you make an ethical shot, it really doesn't matter how far you're shooting or how close you've closed the distance, a sh!tty shot is a sh!tty shot. I think more than anything it comes down to keeping a cool head an going through the routine. If you practice enough it you can make the routine things routine but if you dust your bow or gun off an head to the hills there is nothing routine about it an that's when it all becomes unethical is not knowing what you're equipment will do.

Nice buck. Good shooting. It's better to leave specifics like that out of the story sometimes. Tho it's your story an your right to tell it however you wish, unless you like stirring the pot it's a good way to avoid it. Congrats tho. Nice bucks -
Took a day off from deer hunting an took my kids shooting. This is my 3 yr old daughter Harper. She has to tell me oh k dad I'm ready an I pull the trigger. But on our 4th try we hit a milk jug at 300 yards. Forgot to take pics of my 5 year old son. 2 lethal little kids an love to shoot. That's a 25 wssm mag too. Doesn't phase them a bit.

Here is my take on it. Mass is extremely deceiving. Tine length you can guess on pretty close while judging a bull. But when you start pulling a tape an a bull has 70+ inches of mass it adds up quick. A big bull will usually have around 60" of mass. It's always a pleasant surprise. So Ya tine length adds up no doubt. But a heavy bull is where you get the unexpected inches
