Rick still has a bear that was supposed to be done about a year ago an did a coues for my brother that fell apart an fell off the pedestal. I've got the new hd 10s an the non hd 15s. After spending some time behind the hd glass I will soon own the hd 15s. I have not spent much time looking thru the 12s. So I can't give much of an opinion but as for me you couldn't pry 15s out of my arsenal.

I remember Jim posting this story of the deer. I have never personally seen anything like your talking about but I see how it could happen. I just seem to kill giant bodied deer with small antlers. Makes for a rough pack out

Very cool write up. Awesome what happens with age good feed an little pressure. Love seeing year to year pictures. Kind of sucks seeing him lay there ribs showing at 12 1/2 years. Pretty amazing seeing deer die of old age.
