Just wondering if anyone has had any luck at either lynx or goldwater lakes recently or opinions on which one is better. I'm planning on heading out to one or both this weekend.

How about the claw and i'm not talking about the study version I'm talking about the cheap plasic thing that folds into the sling on you rifle. Every time you pull it out it makes a racket and you can never get it to fold back up right. Not to mention its really unsteady on any terain other than perfectly flat.

I have a flyer about G&F looking at baning the use of salt and other "baits" that I got from BOWSNIPER that I can e-mail anyone that is interested. This is something that will affect all hunters in AZ even if you don't bait. From what i understand they will be voting on this in Oct.

I've been reading on some other forums that the slick tricks seem to whistle. Has any one had this problem with these heads? Also I'm a little leary of using expandables, although I know a couple people that have had success with the vortex. Myself i've been gettin good accuracy with muzzy 3 blade 100 grains out to 50yds.

Thats the best way to get you there. A couple people of my buddies whet up there last weekend and caught there limit of rainbows, just using spinners and spoons (I think gold). They also caught a couple largemouth and some bluegil. I was fishing in the first pool u get to last year and caught a nice 13" rainbow on a worm first cast! My best advice that has worked for me and my friends is if it's not hot in one pool keep moving to different areas until u find the hot spot since some of the pools might only hold a few fish but there are some nice veiws and great fishing in that canyon if you liked wet beaver creek you'll love clear creek

I've shot my bow for about three years and the serving is wearing out at the nocking point. I'm thinking about going with a sting loop or maybe even a T.R.U. nock. I've heard these are noisy and that both of them slow down your arrow. So I guess my question would be to loop or not to loop?

I started bowhunting about three years ago, with no luck yet. This year I decided to start shed hunting and maybe get a better idea of the hunt units. I've gone out several times in units 21,6a,and 17b and have been finding it pretty hard to find sheds, i did find one half of a forkie in 6a. I know it's going to be difficult but if anyone has any suggestions or tips on finding sheds that would be great thanx.

after they drop em about how long does it take for them to grow out to full size?

there is actually a few trails that the elk use to come right on into the farms in Camp Verde. They like to get into the feilds along Beaver Creek. I would Deffinatly check out areas just north of Camp Verde (wet beaver wilderness and clear creek wilderness) some of this area dosen't look like it would hold much elk but i've seen some pretty decent bulls in some strange areas. I think the archery hunt would be a good time to hunt this area as you're right about harvest time.
