I just purchased the new Leica 1600B so my Leica Rangemaster 1200 scan has got to go. I have owned these for 6 years and it has never failed me. Color is Safari. Asking $275. No trades, need the cash to offset the purchase of the new rangefinder. Thanks Anthony

Thanks guys. Yes its been a great Rangefinder. I know I may regret selling it but I need the $$$. I believe Mattman got to me first so SPF.

I just wanted to say Happy Father Day to all of you. This youth hunter forum would never have been developed if it wasn't for us Dad's and Moms. Enjoy the day with your family and cherish the memories with your kids. Its been a pleasure reading all the topics over the years. Lets do our best to keep it going for generations to come. No problem, I took both my boys to the Archery Club to see which bow they liked the best. They tried all of them and both Chose the Hoyt. I guess not like father like son because I shoot a Mathews LOL…

Also try Archerytalk.com thats another spot you can find a used bow.

Buy him a Hoyt Ruckus. Great bow, both my boys shoot it and the best part is that it will grow with them. One of my sons is LH and the other is RH. You may be able to find one on craigslist. Hope this helps.

Atlas Bipod BT10-LW17 Bipod 1913, Make sure you buy the detachable one and it will be able to go on all your rifles. All you need to install is a Atlas Bipod Flush Cup 1913 on the bottom of each stock. Hope this helps.

I have almost 3 boxes of 300 Win Mag 180gr ammo for sale. 1. Box Brand New Remington 180gr Core- Lokt that I bought yesterday by mistake at Cabelas (I thought it was 300 ultra mag box) second time I have done that… I have receipt. 2. 15 rounds of Remington Premier Scirocco Bonded 180gr. 3. 10 rounds of Winchester Ballistic Silvertip 180gr 4. 9 more rounds of Remington Core-Lokt 180gr. I use to own a 300 Win Mag and most of these bullets have just been sitting in my safe for a while. Now that I made the mistake of buying another box of this caliber I mite as well sell the whole package. I believe $65 should be fare to ask. Thanks for looking.

Question on Match Grade and Ballistic Tip (Accuracy)
Stallone A. posted a topic in Long Range Shooting
I have had much success shooting Nosler BTHP 175gr and Black Hills BTHP 165 Match Grade Bullets on targets up to 800 yards. My groups at 100yards are average quarter MOA. At 300 yards my groups find the same success. At 500 to 600 yards I am hitting steel plates 24X24. I have tested out many bullets in my rifle, Nosler Ballistic Tip 165gr Hornady Superperformance match168gr A-max and inter bond and the list goes on and on. For some reason I can not seem to find a bullet that shoots as accurate as the BTHP match grade bullets. It seems that when I shoot the ballistic tip bullets my accuracy goes to crap even at short ranges. The bullet seems to be flying way right and I have to keep changing my windage frequently. I am shooting a Remington 700 SPS .308 tactical 1:10 twist. Its bedded in a Mcmillan Stock. Does anyone have any suggestions on a hunting bullet I can use that will give me the same success as my Match Grade Bullets. Thanks -

Question on Match Grade and Ballistic Tip (Accuracy)
Stallone A. replied to Stallone A.'s topic in Long Range Shooting
Thanks everybody for all your info. I did not want to make this a battle discussion ( I apologize). I have used a 300 ultra mag for about 10 years and I just switched over to the .308 I had always used Remington 180gr scirocco bonded power level III bullets and never had to worry about anything. They alway shot well and have harvested many deer with this round. I just wanted to test out my new rifle that I have been shooting for a year now and gets its first coues under its belt. I have been only shooting BTHP ammo out of this gun and have not shot anything else. I bought 6 boxes of different hunting ammo to test out and nothing has made me feel confident enough to harvest an animal at long range. I may have to take old faithful on this years hunt and do some more testing on the .308 Thanks for all the replies.
