36C is a great unit. I don't think you will have a lot of problems with the cartel during that time of year. I have noticed when the temps cool down they seem to disappear as well. However that being said, I wouldn't be hunting alone just in case and carry a side arm as well. There are still many of them out there however not as bad as 36B. Elkhorn Ranch is a great spot however it does get a little crowded not only with hunters but with hikers as well. I hunted their last year and found myself glassing people with their dogs running around on the trails. However I did see some good bucks so don't count it out. Another place to hunt would be mile marker 2. The bucks are not that big so if you are going to trophy hunt I would not suggest going there (IMO). I hope this helps. I just wanted to say thanks not only to the members that lent me some decoys for my hunt last week but to all of you that have contributed countless amounts of knowledge along the way. Two weeks ago two members from the sight lent me their decoys to go on my hunt in Wyoming. Not only did both members sit down with me and tell me their hunting experiences but also shared some tips and tactics as well. I've got to say that I was taken back by the generosity and kindness of both members. This sight has made me a better hunter, father, husband and a better man. I have read many of your stories of your hunts, your campfire stories and most of all your contributions to families in need. I have done my best to give back as well on this sight however I have gained more than I have given. I am on my way to go hunting in Wyoming for Antelope for my first time next week.I heard wearing the Antelope Decoy hat can help. I know its going to make me look funny but I will do anything I need to do to get close. If anyone bought one with buyers remorse and wants to sell it at discount I will be interested in purchasing it. (I should have bought it on Camofire when it was $30.) I already borrowed a Antelope Decoy from a friend however if anyone has that big black cow that is collecting dust in their garage I may be interested in that as well. Thanks, Anthony
