so did anybody else have a good day, mine all started out looking for a deer I shot at yesterday, and we saw a pack of yotes, 5 in all so we found a new stand for dogs, on the way out jumped two good coues bucks the biggets being a 3x2 that would go high 80's low 90's, then decided to try the low lands and see if we could find some flop ear, we did but on the way in after signing in to some private property we came across some more dogs at 36 yards and decided to take a shot( needless to say since this was a puppy he didnt offer much of a target but came close to bagging a dog),Back to the deer so were driving down the road and a whole a whole 7 more bucks and half dozen does, the biggest beings also a 3x2 with big long tinese are off the side of the road, we got to within 40 yards but wasnt offered a shot, so we watched up bed and some freinds decided to put a stock on them, I opted to stay on high ground and keep a watch on the buck. they got to within 90 yards and the wind changed and they jumped ship on us. And all the deer were up and moving around during mid day! we were so excited especially my 12 year old daughter! so we decide to head back into town to grab lunch on the way back in we pass a spike in the middle of the highway so we turn around and he's still there just right off the highway and my freind decides this lil coues would be good eating and would be her 1st archery buck so she hops out and comes to full draw, 20 yards no shot due to all the heavy brush, oh well we didnt bring home the bacon today but we did see alot of game and some shot opportunities, and I got to share this all with my lil girl who is now interested in bowhunting more than ever. So yeah I would say it was a good day!!!!

yeah shes pumped up now and Ive been doing alot of scouting for her hunt shes got the makings of a good hunter already, she wants to hold out for a good mature deer instead of shootin the lil guys and letting them get bigger. But she knows she can take any deer she wants and I have a pretty good feeling about her hunt.

we started out the day hiking in 2.5 miles to where I shot at a buck yesterday to try and find him as it got dark and stormy on us yesterday and on the way into another spot we ran across a herd of 9 and watched them go up and bed down then put the stock on them another 2 mile hike after I dropped them off and got to high ground to spot for them not much of a road hunter, even though we did spot the deer stalked today from the road!

What's Up With The Signs
arizonaelitefreak replied to wardsoutfitters's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I dont think I've ever seen any of these signs but if I do I still think I might try and contact the property owner to see if by some chance we could access his property! You never know he just might give you permission!!Cant hurt to ask can it? -
