I have an Elite EXR in camo for sale! 27.5" d.l. it has brand spankin new Vaportrail strings and cables on in in flo orange and flo green! this bow has the cuda cams on it but I may have the 30" rev cams that came on it. This bow is brand new! yes sir I have two pretty great lil hunters on my hands and i think theyre hooked now on coues hunting!

when we got to our glassing spot, got out of the jeep geared up and looked up the mountain and saw someone glassing down at us, so after a brief discussion with my dad we decided to back out and go try another area that I had wanted to scout but never had the chance! We get to the new spot right as the sun is just about to crest the ridge. My dad and my daughter went to the west and me and my son decided to go to the east and south. Walked in about ¼ mile and set up to glass. It wasn’t 5 minutes and I saw a deer stand up in the sun! I said son I got a buck and he’s a good one! (wasn’t real sure how good yet but at about 800 yards alls I could see was antlers!) So we decided to head down the ridge and try to get into range for my 270! We get to within 620 yards and determine we can not close the distance anymore and decide to try and take a shot! I set up the claw and get steady, BOOM and a miss! Tried a couple more also misses! By now my dad and my daughter were right above us! The deer never spooked just milled around sparing playing and feeding while soaking up the sun! they are slowly moving to the south deep into a rough canyon! So we hook back up with my dad an daughter and head down the ridge parralelling the bucks. We get onto another ridge where we can get closer but we can only get to within 530 yards! I again set up! My dad is spotting for me and I take a shot at the big guy BOOM! Whack! He’s down my dad says as a reaquire him in the scope crawling on his front legs. He beds 20 yards from where I shot him then slowly crawls into some brush! My dad tells me he’s hit hard and will go down, so we get my daughter set up on another one of the bucks, first two were misses the next dropped the lil buck, he stands up again and boom! Whack! He is down for good! The 3 remaining bucks are still just playing and feeding not 50 yards from the other two down deer, so I get my son set up first shot was a miss the 2nd connects but far back next shot misses but the next one connects! This buck heads into a clump of brush and never comes out! We watched for almost an hour before heading over to retrieve our trophies! We make our way down to within 200 yards from where my buck should be and I tell my dad we should glass a lil for my buck just in case he is not down and he says “well there is a buck right there! But it doesn’t look like the buck you shot!” my daughter says yes it is papa there is blood all over him! By now my rifle is in the scabbard on my pack on my back so I say hand me a rifle! My daughter hands me hers and I put 2 more into him at 236 yards, down for good! And then another lil buck pops out from nowhere! That is when we finally got to go over and see what we really had! Got to mine and wow my biggest coues deer to date! I start field dressing my deer while my dad goes to get the kids deer, finds my daughters first coues, then goes to find my sons and lost the blood went to where he should have been and never found him! So I got my deer boned out and put in my pack along with my head and cape! My dad got my daughters gutted and ready to drag out but we were 2 miles away from the jeep luckily my brother woke up that morning and decided he needed to go look for us! (gut feeling) what do you know he found us! And came to help us to get the deer packed out! Got the deer down by 10 am got back to my bro’s truck at 430pm! My son was bummed! Lost his first deer! His story is soon to come as he wanted to write his own story and I will be posting for him soon! It was a great hunt couldn’t of asked for a greater hunt! And yes my son did tag out! Thanks dad thanks bro for all the hard work in getting me and my kids some awesome coues deer!

ok ok ok enuf is enuf of the negative post please! you have already turned it into a bad post so thank you for that! It was an awesome hunt we all killed deer my kids killed their first coues and we had a tremendous time! as clay said i you had something negative to say say it in a pm! Im done with this post as far as negativity! thank you to all the guys out there who sent their congrats to me and the kids! to those that sent negativity im done letting you try to ruin a very special moment to any father their kids first kill!!!

me and my family truly do practice all year long with the anticipation of hunting season, but you dont always control the circumstances of the shot! we were confident of their shots that is why we let them shoot at this range! what I tire of is all the critics instead of just saying congrats on a good hunt! nice trophy ect! but oh well we got er done and me and my family had a great hunt no matter what!
