I consider doing quite well as finding a shed or two. I'd say you did better than quite well.

Are those Mojaves? They have that bright green look. Pretty wild though.
-
Looks really good. I'll keep dreaming about the day I get the tag for one of those.
-
Far as I know you can't transfer a tag like that. The only way I know you can is to donate. There a lot of good organizations out there that take donated tags and give them to injured vets, sick children, etc... Check out This organization

I got these pictures in an email today. Supposedly they were taken somewhere around Yavapai County and it was sometime this winter. Looks to be a rather large Tom but I don't know a whole lot about lions. Does anyone think this is normal behavior for a lion. It seemed pretty strange to me.

Does anyone have a favorite model in .17hmr? How is the savage? Is the Sweet 17 Scope worth a darn? Thanks

took me a second. So, is it still out there or did ya make dinner out of it?

HAHA!! I didn't know who was more surprised you, or that fox! I think if he had enough time to make that next move there would have been us two and a fox diving off that boulder in all directions. Good day for sure!

Prayers and good wishes sent from your brothers to the north.

I'll let you know that I stink at calling coyotes. I have only killed probably a dozen in about 10+ years of calling. Fox are a more my style. They are a lot easier to call though. Find the brushy stuff and look for their poop. Once you find their sign start calling. Most of the time you can get them with a rodent or rabbit distress and you will usually get them coming in within 8 minutes. If you aren't seeing them by then, move on to the next stand. I highly recomend a 12 guage with Turkey loads for fox. Oh yeah, don't use a hand call if your calling with just one or two people. You will have one sneak in on you before you know it. I know one guy who has been bit twice by fox when he was hand calling. Best of luck!

Good work Brandon! Those must be some monster calf killin' foxes! A buddy and I made it out for one last day of calling on Friday. Called 6 fox and only killed 2. The fur was just about too far gone to make it worth it. We'll be back out there in October.

like we haven't seen other funny guys with the same joke.

I would go with the AAE 2" vanes. They are much easier to fletch than the blazers. If you look straight down the shaft with the blazers on there, i would bet that at least 1 will be cocked a little bit. http://arizonaarchery.com/category/x_0IY2l...AX_HUNTERS.html

We went in to the hospital early Wednesday morning and at 11:53 am I was a dad! We just came home yesterday and the baby and Mom are doing great!!!! The dogs are being pretty funny. They won't let him out of their sight. His name is Logan Cooper and he was 8 lbs 6 oz and was 21.5 inches long. I couldn't be happier!

How old does a kid have to be to go shed hunting? ;)

Hey TJ why wait 6 months? Get him dreaming about sheds at 1 week! My mom and wife were trying to take cute pictures of the boy so I had to add some of my own touch to their pictures. -
looks like a prescott phone # Let me know more details, miles, work that has been done, after market stuff, etc... Can you expand on what work needs done. I might be interested.

I have heard a noise from mine. Changed the batteries and the noise quit.
-
Good shooting little dude!

I agree with Casey. When you are getting started, play with tons of different sounds. With time you will find the ones that work best for you. I have 100+ sounds on my caller and I probably only use my top 6 sounds every time I go calling.

Went out with a buddy who has gone calling with me a few times. He was home for the weekend from the Marine Corps so we decided to hit the hills and try for some foxes. First two stands were blanks. On the third we had a grey come in and come right up and sniff the foxpro. My buddy raised the shotgun and the fox started to bolt. He let one rip and missed it. Finally on our 4th stand, we set up and were calling for 2 minutes and this grey showed up. My buddy let him have it. I was pretty happy to finally get him something after his persistance of trying to call will me. Oh yeah, this is fox number 17 for the year.

Good work. Are those your pig hunting hounds?
-
Good Job Brandon! Whackem' and Stackem'!!!
-
Prayers sent. God bless.

@casey, I guess in your line of work it brings a whole new meaning to coyote hunting. Can you bring your own yote bustin' hardware with you?

I know you're probably working Thursday, but I'm heading out there on the quad to check my couple cameras. Probably do some calling out at the end of that road before it drops off the edge and roam around for some sheds. Let me know if you can make it.
