Just doing a little E-scouting and I'm trying to figure out where the boundaries of the ranch are, so I don't take my ATV where I would upset the ranch. Anyone know of a map online or any place that would have good info for where the boundaries are?

It isn't too heavy. I tow it with my toyota pickup just fine. I've held it right at 65MPH going up I-17 toward sunset point. I would think a cherokee would pull it easily.

Price lowered to $1500 and I'll make an additional $100 donation to CWT.com

1989 Starcraft popup trailer. I bought it from MT. CAT two years ago and I've had it out on two hunts since then. It's in great shape and keeps you out of the elements. The heater works really well in it. Also has an A/C unit that runs on 110v. One thing that's different about this trailer is that most of the cabinets and all the plumbing has been taken out. This makes much more room for all your hunting gear. It also makes the trailer much more roomy. It has a dining table that turns into a twin bed. The other beds are a Queen and a Double. All the electrical works great. No leaks. There is a hole that has been repaired where a previous owner mounted an A/C unit. All cushions are upholstered in Predator Camo and it looks really sweet! Brand new tires put on today, as well as a new trailer jack. I will post some pictures when I get a chance. I just want to get the word out there. In Prescott Valley. Asking $1600 If interested PM me or call or text 928-925-1012.

Game and fish not having their act together!? Say it isn't so....

Sequence doesn't matter. I am a firm believer in scouting for predators. When you get out of the truck and are walking to the stand look for tracks and scat. If you do a few stands and don't see any sign, move to a whole different area. This year, in my area, I've seen tons of coyote sign, but not much fox or bobcat. That has reflected in my calling success this year. Not one fox or bobcat. Rabies maybe? All the foxpro sounds are pretty good. Just find predator sign and you'll start calling them.

Good work Brandon. Looks like you're hunting closer to home these days.

Savage Model 93 .17 HMR feeding issue
king4wd replied to king4wd's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Here's pretty much how I fixed it. It took a lot of back and forth work, but I finally got it. Just make sure the back end is holding more of the case than the front of the lips. -
Savage Model 93 .17 HMR feeding issue

I actually just figured it out. The mag lips were grabbing the case too far forward and keeping the tip from popping up all the way. I just bent the sheet metal a little and made it so that it grabs the case right at the base and it works like a champ now! Easier fix than what I was thinking I would have to do. -
no blow that mouth call just make sure you have alot of back up Yeah, like a pack of 10+ lion hounds!

I have a .17 HMR that I absolutely LOVE! It's my go to rifle for smaller varmints and small game. It is a real tack driver, under 150 yards that is(that's for you Casey ). It's developed a bit of a feeding issue and I think it's the mag but I'm not positive. Roughly 90% of the time with the first cartridge out of the magazine, the tip of the bullet jams right into the breech face of the barrel. Sometimes the 2nd and 3rd cartridge do it too. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. The deformed tip has got to effect accuracy right? I figure that much deformation on a 17 grain bullet has got to mess with the ballistics pretty bad.
