I agree 100%. The times in the hills and around the fire are alot more than the "KILL". Its lesson's learned and good times. As I get older its good to see the young get up at oh dark 30 and go hunt. Too many GUIDES and city people hunting these days and they think that the National forrest is theirs. That is why off road vhicles are gonna be outlawed. Mule's and Horse's before too long

Ernesto, dont know if You have a gunnysack, but if you do kill a couple jackrabbits and freeze them. Then when you have the time to hunt the yote's thaw them for a couple hours and anchor them to something. put it out and start calling.

It is time for the velvet to start getting rubbed off on all antlered deer. when the blood is done going to the antlers, growth stops. In Az I would say late August to early Sept and they are done.
