7 pins is too busy for me. Could be confusing in the heat of the moment. Thats my opinion. I run a 5 pin slider. That works for me.

I'm looking for a diesel mechanic to work on a fleet of Isuzu NPRs. Does any body here do that or know of anyone. Thanks for your help. I always find good people here.

This should be made into a sticky, or a pinned post. Make it easy to access if needed. Just a thought.

Ive seen 3 B & C stocks where the barrel channel wasn't straight. 2 went back and 1 they said was within specs. The barrel would hit and bind at the forehand when sitting the barreled action in the stock. That is when I stopped messing with them.

Belted Magnum Collet Resizing Die
jeffro replied to jeffro's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
The primers are fine. I only have about 40 out of 150 that have the issue. Must have been a hotter load. Its probably not worth the trouble, but my reloading OCD cant let this go. haha. I have to fix it and figure it out. I think Lance is right with either buy one or get ride of those cases. Thanks for all the ideas. -
Does anyone have this die from innovative tech? I have a bunch of once fired 300 WM brass I was wondering if this would size to spec to fit my custom chamber. Its a little tight right now. The other chamber was bigger in the web area. Thanks

Belted Magnum Collet Resizing Die
jeffro replied to jeffro's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I used a micrometer of course. Feeler guage is a weird trick I read about but never used before in my 30yrs of reloading. The brass was fired in another chamber, just trying to save it and use it. Its once fired. -
Not a trade, but B&B Appliances is great to deal with.

Belted Magnum Collet Resizing Die
jeffro replied to jeffro's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
This die sizes right above the belt. Thats where i need it. I know my length. Im 1 to 2 thousands to big around the belt. I have tried a feeler gauge under the brass and it helped a bit, but cant get the last little bit sized. When i used the feeler gauge it over sized the brass 20 thousands short of my chamber. -
