Not taking anything away from your first lion. Just that I hate to see females killed especially in an area that we have let alot of females go. If it was a Tom then it is what it is. What camera are you using?
-
Cool video. Bummer to kill a 60 pound female to promote his guide biz.
-
TAM, you missed the point completely.
-
Couesaz, That is funny right there.

Who cares which way the lion was going. That story proves andy knew the track had already been found and should have went on to find his own track. Pretty easy to "Reach an agreement" when there are 4 guys to the 1. Andy being the more experienced hunter im sure knew which way the lion was going and the whole time they were "Making the agreement" he was laughing inside saying to himself how this idiot doesnt know which way its going and i am going to catch it out from under him. Oh well like i said it really makes no difference but does show the true colors of some people on here.

First coues was 80, You thought my comparison of track and tank was hilarious then two posts later you use the same example to back up your oppinion. What gives. here is the difference normaly in the hound biz you dont take a track that someone has already cut. Plain and simple, kinde like coming and sitting on a tank that you are on already. You said you would sit the tank if it was unoccupied well in the hound biz this track was "occupied" per say. You should ad one more RIP RIP Ethics.

You guys are all right. Pretty much anything goes out there as long as you come out ahead. Who cares who you step on to get there. So stick up for your friends and make excuses for the things they do really makes no difference i guess in the grand scheme of things. Will get more details before i go any further with this but from what i know Andy knew this guy found this tom track twice already and still didnt care. So if you think that is right of him than good for you. I didnt expect much different than this along with BS excuses and story to make it look ok. Im sure if someone outside the CWT circle of friends did this to one of you guys he would be hung out to dry. Karma is a bitch for sure though. "ANDY THE GIANT SLAYER" ROTFLMAO

Tines, You are not a houndsman so you dont understand. Your example is not the same when it comes to hound hunting and how the whole track thing works. Ask any good hound hunter and i am pretty sure they would never take a track from someone that they cut first. The guy was gone for a short period of time and came back to the situation described. 25.06 You must not be able to read very well. Reread the post and try real hard to understand it before you run your mouth like a fool. I had nothing to do with this at all, just replying to a post with a story. Let me help you understand with an example that invoves you. You have dogs i assume. It snows and everyone heads out to find a lion track. Your friend wants to get a lion so you tell him to go out with you on the snow and if he finds a track you will go catch it for him. How is that wrong? Happens every time it snows. Would you like it if this happened to you friend. How do you know this guy is an idiot. Youe post makes you look like an idiot. I cant believe some of you guys are defending these kind of actions. Wow. Another example to put it in perspective for you coues guys. You are at your favorite tank and you know there is a huge buck hitting it. You get there early so no one beats you in there. An hour in you have to crap so you run up the hill a hundred yards and come back in 10 min to see a guy has just showed up and sat in your blind. Hmmmm Would you want him to tell you to pound sand or how do you think it should go. Get real people. Im Pretty sure how it would play out with any one of you. When someone no one knows does something wrong he gets bashed. When someone people know does something wrong people make excuses and stands up for them. LMAO Does a guy have to have dogs to go cut lion tracks? What if he just wanted to track it himself without dogs can the guy with dogs take the track just cuz he has dogs? Think about it. Pretty hard to justify these kind of actions. This kind of crap is why you are all scared to leave out cameras or let anyone know where your spot is cuz so many people are selfish and cut throat when it comes to hunting and will do whatever it takes to better themselves.

Longears, Yes you can hunt lions in the snow. Here is a little story to prove it. Yesterday A guy goes out to cut a lion track. He has a friend with dogs that said he would catch him a lion if he cut a track. He goes into unit 9 and cuts a big tom track. While waiting for his friend he tries to loop the track. He finds it again then loops again with no luck. He drives back to his track that he cut and wouldnt you know there is a guy there putting collars on his dogs ready to dump dogs. Man sais hey this is my track i cut it a while ago and am waiting for my friend. Guy with hounds sais you dont have dogs and to pretty much f-off. What a prick, really, steal someone elses track ''IN THE SNOW" nonetheless. Well sounds like the guy was a total prick and must be hard up for a lion track to screw a fellow hunter like that. All i know is the guy with dogs drove a white toyota, and his name was Andy. Oh wait i saw a pic on a phone of you holding a big tom in unit 9 yesterday and dont you drive a white toyota. Please say it isnt so, you wouldnt pull that unethical, unsportsmanlike crap would you? Maybe not, maybe there is another andy that hunts 9 with white truck that killed a tom in there as well.

Hows your archery hunt going ?
azoutlaw replied to Harleyfx69's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I agree that if they were off roading then that sucks. But if they are on the road, oh well. It happens and should be expected. I hate listening to people complain about road hunters. If road hunters are hurting your hunt, then get away from the road. The same crap has been going on since as long as everyone here has been hunting so deal with it. If they are off road, get their license plate # and call it in. -
Bears guard marijuana gardens...

Were they guarding the fields or maybe they were the stoners on the mountain and had a thing for the ol green green. -
Maturity you say, I would think at your age you would have the maturity as a hunter to pass on something like that and not have to kill it just to have a succesful hunt. I would have took some video and maybe looked for it next year when it was longer than your 36 inch bow. I mean you have killed 2 nice bears already. Even worse is everyone is saying that its a nice bear. Its not, its a very young very small sow that had no chance to grow and breed before it got an arrow in its head. heck maybe you thought it was a coyote when you shot.
-
That thing is a cub. Why would you shoot a 50 pound bear? Guess you could make a toilet seat cover.
-
Sounds like a crock of $hit coverup by the game and fish.
-
i arrowed an 86 inch buck on the long meadow ranch when i had the tag. Talk to the owner, Jim Putney i believe. He was very helpful.
-
Not sure, lets compare the two. Every midget deer hunter i know has a 100 in plus buck while i know only a few guys with a 200 in carp. Hmmmmm Even a small carp deer has 30 more inches of bone than a big midget buck. Hmmmmmm Always bonafied midget deer hunters on here posting pics of there "carp". Hmmmmm If you are a midget deer hunter than quit shooting carp.

If he is not kidding we should get the tar and feathers -
If you are really hunting for the meat, shoot one of the smaller bucks. I doubt you are or you wouldnt be trying to decide on which of the two largest racked animals hitting the tank you should shoot.

Get rid of that idiot and get someone new. I have been going back and forth with him on some stuff via email and he is a complete moron. There has to be someone else better for the job. -

your right they are not idiots. Some of them are great people and do a wonderful job. But there are some that are dishonest and some that are plain ignorant. To each his own just my 2 cents, you dont have to like it. Not speculation just facts. -
