Yep it's a canned hunt on a Ranch. Awesome bulls but any rich guy could of harvested these bulls. Nothing special about these elk except they would make a heck of a mount. At least SCI is the only book that accepts high fenced fake elk.

Nothing against non-residents but a lot of them don't scout, show up to the unit the afternoon before the hunt and camp right in the middle of the best meadow in the unit. Bill are you helping on a trophy bull hunt or another hunt? Good Luck!

I can't find a difference in these bulls, I think the two bulls are the same. This bull could easily travel two miles also. What does everybody else think?

Right when I looked at it I thought 95 and it seems to be what everybody else thinks so 95.

I heard they were thinking of rebuilding New Orleans North because the city is sinking at 1-3" a year also it will be safer away from the coast. It's basically like a third world country over there. There's no jail to put people in so everybody is looting. Police are chasing the looters with guns and threating to shoot them. People like the picture above have to protect there belongings so a rifle will do. People starving and dieing on the streets and it's driving everybody crazy. Everybodys feeling the effects with high gas prices but I think about the New Orleans people and what they are going through and paying more money for gas does suck but at least I'm not faced with trying to survive everyday. Help is on the way so hopefully the military can get people under control and begin to take the city in the right direction quickly.

I havn't been there for a few years but I believe the shower is still available. I've jumped in the lake with a bar of soap and shampoo up there and did just fine. Good luck and have fun!

I've hunted that unit for several years for the october and november coues hunts. It takes a decent amount of effort to get a buck during these hunts. I hunted around the Klondyke area and seem to run into a good amount. I've heard that the 32 December tag is the tag to have. The game and fish website at azgfd.com has about as good of information as anyone will probably give up.

If those two don't work out give thunderhead a try they are excellent. Also if you ever shoot mechanical NAP Spitfire broadheads with the snap-locking blade retention system fly just like a field point and require no O-rings.

If the 10 percent cap is in place your chance will increase. Last year 5,292 turkey permits offered this year 5,576. Juniors last year 150 this year 165 so that's good news. More hunt opportunity in 5A this year with a double hunt and increase of 100 tags overall. 12A has the biggest decrease in turkey tags this year with 250 less tags. General and junior javelina tags also increased especially in 16A for general. Ham down 100 and archery up a more than a couple hundred.
