Looks like more hunting opportunity around Flagstaff. Closing roads on the Kaibab so a Wolf won't be killed by vehicles and to provide open habitat is rediculous. We thought the Kaibab deer hunting was bad now...a deer is a snack to a pack of wolves. Hmmmmmm wonder if they thought about why they haven't been seen around the mogollon rim since 1942....

It looks like a deer to me, next choice would be a coyote.

Awesome, that's a Huge Set!!

Hunting with the ol' man has to be top for me. We like the challenge of hunting, and figuring out how to hunt an area. Some reason when hunting for countless days I look forward to a nap at noon, it really helps energize me for the evening hunts. Another favorite for me would be the BS around the campfire every night. Also gotta love the beer and whiskey that goes along with a big camp.

I saw the same thing, and it's scary that Arizona is going to cut three months off lion season. First it started with no harvesting lions with kittens, now they are starting to take the season away. Right now California is having serious problems with an over population of lions, and if Arizona wants to head in that direction our big game are in serious trouble...

Hawkeye I never really thought about the poaching issue, but that could be a major concern to be addressed at the meeting on the 21st. Jim I like the option of starting the archery deer on 8/24-9/13. My only question is why couldn't archery turkey be at the same time as archery deer?
