They should show up unless your bank doesn't want you to know If they have started .. they've only gone threw the goat tags...and it will be a long process for elk But i would have thought someone on this website would have been ecstatic to get a goat tag and posted there hit If you around last time CC's were hit for elk and lope you would know that not all banks post pending transactions online right away..Depending on the bank a lot of us had to call our bank to find out.

It looks like CC's have been getting hit on a different site. You might have to call your bank and ask for pending transactions, sometimes they won't show up on you online bank statement for a few days.

Minus the $7.50 app fee? That's true, that would make a $114 charge..

Good thing you updated or you'd have been screwed. I read somewhere on the site that specifically said even if you drew a tag and reults were posted it would be void if the credit card didn't go through. That would really suck to get results online only to find out it got rejected. Don't they usually charge the card before they post draw results? I understand your card can be rejected if the info. is wrong, etc. but I didn't think you could see draw results and then have your card be rejected. Does anyone know if they are still charging cards after the draw results have been posted? I believe they will charge all cards before posting the results online. However once results are posted online it is still possible to see results stating successful, in which if your card was rejected you would still be considered unsuccessful in the draw no matter what the computer is showing. I'm thinking cards will start getting hit this week sometime!

All New Mexico has to do is follow what Arizona does. Arizona has a great drawing system, and a pretty good way to go about giving resident and non-res permits. I'm really against a percentage of permits being set aside for guided hunts in New Mexico though!

Seems like a lot of think the draw results will be out a few days later this year. I'm wondering if anyone knows if we'll be having credit card charges about a week before the results are posted? If so I'm thinking they could start sometime during the week of the 19-23rd!

Thanks for clearing that up! I still bet quite a few people leave AZ as their main resident when they leave the State, being we have better hunting then most Western States!

You will be a non-res, and you don't have to pay for a license for AZ ever again. You will still have to pay the non-res tag fees. You will be in the resident drawing as stated. Pretty good deal for someone moving out of State. The only thing I don't like about the whole process is what happens in 10-20 years when we have thousands of people move out of State. The Resident draw odds are going to get worse in Arizona each year and they will have to change this rule IMO. Anybody else have an opinion on this?

I believe the lion was harvested in unit 16A. The story may of been posted on the campfire forum; they had scouted and found tracks and knew the lion was using the area. They hunted on a full moon where they could still see the outline of the cat coming into the call. The lion took around 30 mins to come in, also they set up about 20-25 yds from the call and used a shotgun to harvest it.

So who will be using the online system for elk and antelope when it becomes available? The website says early to mid January we should be able to apply online...but it sure makes it hard to wait for the online system being that I like to get the apps in before the correction period! It's good to see it's not moving forward at this time! I can't believe they can try to push a bill like this through so quick without anybody being informed until the last moment. If there is an email someone can post on here to voice our opinions to someone who will listen I would greatly appreciate it!!

I'm NOT in favor of this bill at all!!!!! Sounds like a sneaky way to get tags pushed aside for the rich. We DO NOT want to be like Utah with landowner tags and such. This bill is the start of all that crap and it will just get worse!

I'm not sure what azgfd does or doesn't do. There's many things I think they can do in the future to help improve the hunting throughout Arizona. The major issue I've noticed is balancing hunter opportunity meaning more hunters in the field, vs a quality hunt with less hunters and more trophy potential. One thing I would like to see is each region throughout Arizona designate a specific unit of a trophy type or a higher quality hunt for each species. This would spread out the quality throughout the State while leaving the other units in the region managed how azgfd chooses. IMO that leaves hunter opportunity available throughout Arizona and spreads out quality hunts througout the State as well. I don't see a sensible way to make every unit in AZ equal to the units north of the ditch, but one per region seems like a good way to start. Another thing I think azgfd can improve on is seperating the archery cow elk hunts with the archery bull elk hunts. I know hunts are crammed up next to eachother throughout the fall but I think with enough thought a good solution can be made.

I've been looking at my bonus points on the azgfd web site and they don't seem updated? I should have 3 deer points and it's still only showing 2. Also I should have 3 turkey pts and it's also showing 2. Have bonus pts not been updated, or could it possibly be the new online system? Seems like before the online system my points were updated correctly.
