I think everyone gets the whole its public land thing....but not everyone has caught on to the fellow hunter etiquette.

Well..... I dont wanna see anyone before, or after where I park at. Sure they could be hiking into a different area...but to think that they wont "interfere" with your hunt in some way...is probably the kinda hunter that WOULD park right next to you and not care that you are there already.

Just imagine all the ones you never even know are there.....cue creepy music.

I liked it. And it was an honest opinion. I killed my biggest buck in 1984 (107 net). I have a hunting buddy that pulls my chain saying, " why haven't you killed a bigger one yet if you're soooo good?". I've seen bigger, but chit happens. And you can't kill a 110 if you keep shooting 100"ers. In the "trophy hunting world".....a wall with consistent book deer would probably consider you as a professional hunter, a dang good cheater, or one lucky SOB.

I see it as selling your soul. All the time spent on the mountain that PH's do, is sold for a price. Im a charity guide, but I do it with friends that show a unique interest in the sport. If it is truly.that enjoyable... do it fo free...surely any animal deserves hard work by the one who takes its life. PUT THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT! ;-p

you can score all racks typical(deductions) or non typical(gross). You could score this deer non typical and it wouldn't score as high in the books as it would typical. Ergo....nets aren't only for fishing.
