Larry left this earth a liar and a thief.....He owed hundreds of thousands of dollars to numerous individuals he had ripped off....He never took any responsibility for any of his crimes.... And in private conversations laughed about all of it...There was a time in his life he was a tremendous individual and one of the best sheep guides you could find but later in his life he became an embarrassment of a human being....

I have a wood butt stock that has had a scotch brite pad taken to it as I was going to refinish it and never got around to it. You can have it....It’s in great shape just needs a clear coat...I’m leaving for the kaibab tomorrow morning for 10 days. Dave

Your daughter has arguably the best late elk tag in the state. I had a terrible experience with Zeiss customer service a few yrs back. I sent in one of there high end rifle scopes after the retical fell to the bottom of the scope the first time the rifle was fired. I called customer service and was given a repair order number and the scope was sent back. I was told it should take 6/8 weeks to get it back. At about the 8 week mark I called for an update and was told a few more weeks. This went on for 4 more months. I was finally told that the scope had been sent back to me and I should get it any day. I asked for a tracking number and was told she would need to call me back. I never received the scope and never received a call back and nobody could provide me a tracking number. After several more weeks and several heated conversations with different employees I was told that they never received the scope in the first place. I then had to go through UPS and prove to them that in had if fact been delivered and who signed for it. Then I was told it had been received but was lost. After several months I was told they would give me a new scope but the model I sent in was no longer available. I gave them a list of scopes that would be an acceptable replacement and was told I would receive a NIB scope. Needless to say I did not receive the scope I was told I would and the one I did receive looked like it had been dragged behind a truck....I disputed the charge with Amex and after several more months received a refund for the full amount from Amex....all this after I involved the shop I purchased it from who was a zeiss dealer and the local zeiss rep.

dse Not sure if you shoot benchrest but if you don’t you should....A 2 inch group at 1000 yards with ANY rifle would put you in the money at every event. And as someone who spent many yrs at these events if you sat down at a table and put a wager down that you could do it with a 22-250 you would make thousands of dollars.... I believe the world record for light gun ( under 17 lbs ) is just over 1 inch....shot with a full custom 6 mm dasher

No I’ve only met the man one time several yrs ago on a late elk hunt in unit 23....But he is a lifelong friend of a very good friend of mine who lives in Oregon and when I was asked if I could help with information for the hunt I decide to just donate an full camp/hunt in hopes that in some small way I could help him enjoy what will more then likely be his last hunt....It’s my understanding that my buddy and he will drive down from Oregon a few days before the hunt and he thinks if we don’t push to hard he can hunt for 4/5 days given his illness.....

I’ll be up there on this hunt....I’ll do what I can to help you....I’ll be up two weeks before the hunt starts we only have one tag to fill and it’s a 73 yr old gentleman with cancer. It more then likely will be his last hunt before he looses his battle with it....
