I've never done the guided hunt at Tejon. I've done the Mngmt hunt 5 or 6 times.

How many hogs do they let you whack at the Texas ranch? If you are going to do Cali you might as well do Tejon ranch

Fat does not make you fat nor is it bad for your heart. Sugar, potatoes, flour (even whole wheat), pasta bread, corn, etc makes you fat, raises your blood pressure and causes you to develop diabetes.
