We see them almost every time we go out but they are so skitish and nervous its hard to get within 100 yards of them before they bail. Where they are is very rocky and loud no matter how slow you try to stalk. Saw a good muley buck yesterday. I took an old pair of sneakers and glued some carpet to the bottoms and stuck them in my pack last week. Yesterday we went out and found them but they got away from from us before we could put on the stalk. Went out this morning and could not find them. Try again tomorrow if the weather permits.

Here is what I based it on.

OK, I bought some silicone spray and saturated the shoulder straps and where the webbing rubs the frame and it was much better this morning while pig hunting. Still some squeaks but I think I have them narrowed down. I think I will spray it again and hang it by the straps overnight with some weights in the pack and see if that doesn't help with the tight stitching, which seems to be the only noisy spots remaining.

I second this. Recently bought a pack and a binocular adapter there and service was very good.

My point was not about jobs or a freakin camp ground. There are not any American mining companies that do this or are there just not any American companies that could outbid for McCains support? I ordered a McGowen pre fit and had it in less than a week.

I'd probably skip Tejon. Their prices have risen to where it's not worth it for what you get, in my opinion. If they let you hunt more than two days it would a bargain.
